The one song that comes on that instantly makes me stop whatever I’m doing, and whoever is around me I ask to please not talk to me for a moment. My mother died when I was 10 years old and at 36 now, memories of her get more distant. But literally every time this song comes on I can see, feel, hear her, and even smell her perfume. It somehow brings memories back that I forgot all about. I remember being 3 or 4 years old lying in the bed with her eating jelly beans while this song played. It takes me back to that very moment. Its almost as if the first 10 years of my life flashes before my eyes when I close my eyes and listen. There are other songs that make me reminisce but what THIS song does for me, there’s no way I can put it into words. I’m thankful for the time I had with her and what she instilled in me. I’m still listening in 2021 and will be forever
