Silent Assassin it's still of my favourite endings in media. The "white room" with a bleeding out Sergei, the camera panning up showing a quite relaxed 47, not even bothering to look a Sergei as he puts a bullet in him, and then... those cold emotionless eyes. Finally the crucifix left hanging at the broken gate of the monastery, while a now lonelier 47 walks into the sunset... but ends up looking like his walking into the fog. A cold morgue, a life he can't escape. The intro had already blown my mind when it came out, but that ending was climatic and only later did it left me feeling sad for poor 47. I haven't played anything past Blood Money, but I'm looking forward for World of Assassination.
For some reason 47 looks significantly aged in Absolution, considering he's 48 years old according to the setting game took place, but in WOA he looks like he's in his 30's despite him being 55 in that game setting
I think it's been canonised 47 is over 60 in one of the novels or something I could be wrong though since I haven't read them but I'm pretty sure he is over 60

Hitman 2 SA: 47 learns an important moral message, which is he's just not very good at being the good guy.
