Alicia Keys Gets Ready For The 2020 Grammy Awards | British Vogue

As a 15-time Grammy Award winner, Alicia Keys knows a thing or two about getting ready for music’s biggest night of the year. “I’m still an artist so I really understand what they’re feeling tonight,” she explained to Vogue behind the scenes at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, as she prepared to front the show for a second year in a row.
The evening was tainted with sadness following the tragic passing of basketball superstar Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, earlier in the day. “We’re all heartbroken,” Keys told Vogue before the ceremony. “We’ve been working so hard to revamp the show to really properly honour him and his family.” In an emotional tribute at the start of the ceremony, Keys sang It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday with Boyz II Men.
