McEvoy's Reel/ Sligo Maid

  • The first reel I learned from Laurence Nugent and I assume it was written by Roscommon flute player Catherine McEvoy. It's a really fun tune. The second is the popular session tune, a version that is a combination of Donegal fiddler Theresa Kavanagh and my own personal twist.
    Of course, I play both too fast ;-)

    haha, the person walking past. real funny for some reason. That was some sweet playing. i got inspired to buy one of these the other day by some old english guy i played with at the pub. so much fun! keep it up!
