- Local weather for Portland Oregon and Pacific Northwest region from local meteorologist Rod Hill. Tracking a pattern shift to start next week that will end the hot weather in place going back to July 4th. The pattern shift will be good news for wildfire danger. Hope that's right, we need to put up a new shed and are having issues finding a time where it's not too hot for my husband and his medical conditions to be outside working.

This heat has just been a huge nuisance. I moved to Portland from LA to get away from the heat, I love the cold, snowy, rainy weather. But these 90°+ days are just annoying. Can’t wait for Monday to finally go back to normal temps where lows will be in the low 50s…
Hooray for the upper level low! This coming winter we won`t enjoy them but right now its nice to give the PGE bill a break from having to the farmhouse a/c! Anything much over 80 just makes it to difficult to do farm work with non-a/c equipped machinery on our small farm. Have to wait for the cooler weather which we`re now going to have. Again hooray!
I get charged 150 a month and have no Ac . Or anything. Tiny apartment. 5 years ago it was 70 dollars in July. This is Biden and corporate greed . Fj b
