C6 corvette Oil cooler install with a check up on another engine build

Found oil line leak while charging A.C. so decided to install oil cooler. also did first oil change on a recent build to see how well its breaking in.

Why don’t you bypass the radiator?
I bypassed the radiator on my Duramax and temperature dropped subsequently!

Need a way to keep heat in the oil. That was a long time ago and now the car has 2 large oil coolers without going through the radiator and a thermostat for the oil. When it comes to high output engines in big climate swing areas like MN we need a way to control oil temp to keep things at a specific viscosity.

Holy crap, I almost forgot about this video it's been a while and I talked really slow. 🤣 Anyway the car has had the oil cooling changed a bit since then and I will be posting a video on it at some point. I believe that was factory style oil cooler and mounts if I recall correctly.
