Cougar Park FUNDURO Race Tokoroa

- This is my second enduro event I have raced in. I never planned on racing, I really just enjoy riding with mates or even on my own for that reason. But these events are loads of fun and very social, as the MTB Community are made up of 99.8% good friendly people. So it’s nice to meet new faces and share some yarns together. This Funduro event was to have the last run down these trails as the jungle junction area is getting the pines harvested so 3 of of 4 trails in this race are going to getting destroyed. But they will rebuild in the future so look forwards to seeing them rebuilt.
There is still a whole lot more trails to discover here at Cougar Park Mountain bike Park in Tokoroa, so I recommend coming to check it out yourself when you get a chance. Loads of fun! If you enjoyed this please like an subscribe for more videos. 👍

Awesome video Tom and a well done on your race. A bit of a bummer on your couple spills but hey it’s still definitely done very well. And you have definitely improved over time that you have been riding. I’m always looking forward to seeing you on your next video 😊

Yeah mate it sure is. That’s ok I was stoked Haz got in there. 2 secs over almost 11mins of racing is close. Cheers 🤙

@@fernandom6811 Thanks, yeah I did test them out side by side. I found the Jam2 slightly more nimble and playful, really good bike. But the Sam2 is the next step up if you like to ride more Chunky trails. More plush in the suspension department giving it a more grounded feel when things turn hectic. But the jam2 is a fantastic bike, just depends on the rider and what you’re preference’s are. Cheers for watching 😎🤙

@@fernandom6811 yeah good bikes, a downside for me is they don’t have a flip chip so if you change to mullet it lowers the bottom bracket height and the battery cover is a bad design in my eyes. Bash cover will fix that problem though. Happy biking. 😎🤙
@@EMTBNZ thanks ! Yeah I heard about the bash plate! I’m 177cm! So I’m not sure if I should go for the medium or the large! It will be my first e Mtb!
@@fernandom6811 Exciting!! I am 180cm and a large is perfect. I tried a Medium & it felt a bit short for me. But I would suggest testing them out. Whatever you get. I’m sure you will get used to it quickly. Good luck on the new purchase. 😎🤙
