Mayock failed in a lot of the other aspects of the GM job, for sure. I just don’t hold the drafts against him the way others do.
I don't understand why this man isn't back in the NFL. In just 50 minutes, I gained more insights into the NFL draft than all the hours I spent watching the supposed experts. He had nice middle picks, but his 1st round picks were some of the worst in NFL history. He doesn't understand draft value and where to select players. You don't select someone with the 4th overall pick that you could get late in the 1st round if not 2nd. He could never grasp value. He was a good scout though.
Yea I would love for him to come back to the NFL Network him and Rich were most see TV together especially around this time of year. I was happy and sad when he left for the Raiders.

Mike... Taking Clelin Ferrell with the 4th pick was just unforgivable for a draft guru. Every other D-line man was a probowler outside tillery. The raiders just paid Ferrell's teammate and the 13th pick a boat load of money. We traded away Mack and Cooper for 3 first rounders who didnt even reach a 2nd contract with the raiders. If crosby didnt fall out of the sky, your house might have burned down.
Do you think Aidan Oconnell can get better at pocket presence and quickness,burst? he started as a rookie which is too big for some but he came in and it wasnt too big for him. he is a smart hard worker and i think he is working on his flaws and will show vast improvements.

He was right about Pratt!! Green Bay cut him..but saw him in practice..And I think he just didnt have the runway for development. He made plays, moved the ball. More time in the nfl, learning the processing..he could easily be a Kyle Allen type player.

It absolutely was NOT because of Gruden Carr played good. He was a Pro Bowler and MVP candidate before Gruden came back. Honestly the beat DC played was under Jack Del Rio. A big part of me wishes JDR was fired. I.think Mark Davis F'd up on that decision.

Gruden was the guy with all the power and all the dumb player selections. Look at how bad gruden screwed up the roster that he inherited in Tampa. Give gruden control over personnel and disaster is sure to follow

Mike... Taking Clelin Ferrell with the 4th pick was just unforgivable for a draft guru. Every other D-line man was a probowler outside tillery. The raiders just paid Ferrell's teammate and the 13th pick a boat load of money. We traded away Mack and Cooper for 3 first rounders who didnt even reach a 2nd contract with the raiders.

Do you think Aidan Oconnell can get better at pocket presence and quickness,burst? he started as a rookie which is too big for some but he came in and it wasnt too big for him. he is a smart hard worker and i think he is working on his flaws and will show vast improvements.

Mark Davis scrapping the coaching staff in 2021 after getting to the playoffs to start all over again with JMD was ridiculous and showcased Davis ability as an owner.
He was right about Pratt!! Green Bay cut him..but saw him in practice..And I think he just didnt have the runway for development. He made plays, moved the ball. More time in the nfl, learning the processing..he could easily be a Kyle Allen type player.

It absolutely was NOT because of Gruden Carr played good. He was a Pro Bowler and MVP candidate before Gruden came back. Honestly the beat DC played was under Jack Del Rio. A big part of me wishes JDR was fired. I.think Mark Davis F'd up on that decision.
