      Please am in Holly Springs, Mississippi and am 65 years old and thinking serious about moving to another country. Was diagnosed with Gastritis a stomach disorder and must eat organic fruit and vegetables. Could you contact me and let me know everything I need to enter into Panama? Like quiet one bedroom house, apartment or studio with everything. Like to live near grocery store and marketplace. Would you contact me please with reasonable rent. Living on widows pension. Could you please tell me is this a English speaking Country?

    In the south of France, they put lavender on their window sills to keep the scorpions out, just old dried stocks seem to work. Thanks for all the interesting info about Panama. I'll check out Jackie's page.

    Thank you! For this vidéo. I am not a tour guided type of personality. As an artist, this video

    Great video, Vaughn. Thanks. I'm 64yo old young, single, no family, and also living off of rental investment, and love mountains and water, and beaches, just don't like humidity. My two springers are everything to me......thinking about Boquete as a relocation from the states. Not sure if I am that adventurous to make the leap, but you are very helpful. Thx.

    Yeah, Panama is A Great Place to Retire especially in the Mountains there in Boquete . Been there twice. 1968 to 1972 as a Teenager, and then Back in 2010. I always remembered Boquete, going there as a Teenager with my Parents and brothers. Boquete will be my place. I think you picked a great Place to retire Vaughn. HOOAH..

    Vaughn, great video! Been in Panama since the middle of January in Bocas del Toros. Love the area but I'm finding it's not a long-term area for me. Little bit too touristy and the heat with the humidity is really not the most comfortable. Thanks for your overview on boquete. Was there for I believe 3 days on the tour last August but it was cold and rainy at the time. I like the idea of the expats and getting to know people for more than just a few days while their vacationing so I may be considering bouquete again. Thanks again for your insight and have a great one. 😎

    Hi Vaughn, My pickleball friend. It was nice to get to know you a bit better through this video. The indoor wildlife is also challenging for me. Strange that I haven't seen a cockroach in my apartment yet; cockroaches and spiders, however... I've been encouraged to get over it. It takes a mental adjustment. I'm here only for the Wisconsin winters. Like you, I find Boquete the perfect escape from the cold.

    Hello. My family of 4 was considering moving to Panama but have just learned about a lot of changes the government is making. According to the realtor and attorney, to become a resident via the Friendly Nations Visa you must purchase 500K USD of property. Obviously that will make permanently relocating impossible for some now. Also, we were told the travel visa (you mentioned 6 months) is shortening to 3. It is unclear if you are living longer term", meaning a few months or actually permanently relocating there. Might be helpful to specify so those trying to get info, are getting the correct information for their particular circumstances. Thanks!

    • @PanamaRelocationTours
      @PanamaRelocationTours  2 года назад +4

      You got some VERY BAD advice from the real estate person and the lawyer!!!! A tourists can stay in a Panama for 180 days. For the Friendly Nations Visa, you can either 1. buy real estate worth $200,000 or 2. Deposit $200,000 into a 3-year CD at a Panama bank, or 3. get a job in Panama, or 4. Set up a Panama corporation that hires you for about $5,000/

    Are expats verbal about US politics or do they leave it at the border? I was turned off after joining a FB page with some of the Volcan expats because of their strong political viewpoints. Looking for less political drama if that is possible.

    • @JR-mo8os
      @JR-mo8os 2 года назад +4

      You will find those type's everywhere you go but that doesn't mean most are like that and some FB expat groups actually ban political posts.

    • @PanamaRelocationTours
      @PanamaRelocationTours  2 года назад +1

      Some expats left it at the border but some dwell on it still. You can always find the expats who prefer NOT to discuss politics or any other controversial topics.
