Video idea for you - “Building the best fragrance collection for under $500”. Like I’m a total beginner, I own zero fragrances, what should I buy for the various seasons and occasions that will give me the best bang for the buck and can build a solid collection for under $200 $500 $1000 or whatever number you want to use.

Deep Blue Parfum is still my favorite RL blue super underrated I’ve worn it all season day night work and random people seem to like it in the air

Facconable french riviera and rochas lhomme could be in the list too, underrated gems
I don’t own any of of these but of the ones here I’m familiar with and have smelled. Luna Rossa Ocean is a beautiful fragrance. I have Luna Rossa Black and that one is also really nice but I honestly think Ocean is even better.

I cannot wait for my next fragrance purchase. I will pick between Dior Homme 2020, Narciso Rodriguez For Him EDP, Montblanc Explorer and YSL Y Le Parfum.
I'd put explorer on the back burner and pick up Armaf club de nuit intense limited edition parfume. It's a lot more refined and last way longer 8-12 hours. Lattafa has a lot of great juices on the cheap.
Dior Homme 2020 is by far the best out of that bunch
I really like ysl y le parfum, but i'd say don't buy it now because it gained a lot of popularity recently and i think it's starting to become the new sauvage.
For Gods sake please consider using different adjectives other than effervescent and sparkle.
PRADA OCEAN getting some love finally! I'm wearing this more than any other fragrance I have right now! So nice to wear! Beautiful scent! Gets plenty of compliments too!! Thoroughly recommend!

I don’t own this one but I do have Luna Rossa Black I like that one a lot too but I’ve smelled Ocean and it’s gorgeous! I really want to get it at some point!

Nice! I picked it up last summer b/c I needed something quick on a trip and the local Sephora had it in stock. I really enjoy it in warm weather.

What about Bleu Noir edp? Amazing smell and the powder scent adds to that classy scent.
Jose that is one I am going to smell soon and probably purchase from my shortlist of about 4 fragrances.
The limited Blue Noir Parfume by Narcissco Rodriguez is even more amazing.
i dont understand how people can like the gentleman givenchy it litterally smells like spicey lipstick, i guess to each their own. personally i havent found anyone that likes it when testing it, but theres a lot of great ones on this list just not that one lol
Awesome picks! I’d say the only one I might pick differently was ysl line. Prob would of went with le parfum as I think it’s more class than the edt but the edt is more blue smelling so it could be a toss up
Just picked up Faconnable Riviera for $20 at a rack store - surprisingly nice!

No Versace Dylan Blue?!
To me a blue fragrances is one that evokes the feeling of blue when you smell it.. colour has no smell but somehow that makes sense. Examples are Blue de chanel, dior sauvage, Dylan blue etc.
I myself think Prada carbon does great in these south Carolina winters,I think it smells better in winter than extreme heat .
If youre into soapy fresh fragrances Luna Rossa Ocean is your choice. It has this shower gel smell and a deep blue and masculine base. Performance is average though but the price is cheap at least in Europe. Like 50 euros 100 ml.

Aqua essenziale blu by ferragamo is a great fragance made by alberto morillas for me is the best blue fragance by ferragamo

I am still looking forward to finding some Givenchy scents. Reserve Privee is #1 on my radar, but I'd really like to get the original Gentleman and Intense. It seems they sell out rather quickly on most of the discounters. Anyway, always love the reviews!
The 2017 Gentlemen EDT is one of my favorites from the line and Cologne is absolute 🔥 🔥🔥

Edt sauvage better, better projection
I keep trying “blue” fragrance and just can’t enjoy it as much as other people seem to love it. I am completely new to fragrance but have purchased 20+ bottles since December. Anyone else struggle to find sauvage, Eros, or others on the list appealing? Obviously the high reviews say I’m crazy but I just haven’t found the scents appealing yet, am I just an “amateur” what gives?
No I’m the same way I don’t like blue fragrances . Don’t like the “fresh shower gel” smell… Here are some of my favorites since it seems we are similar. Reflection man by amouage. Greenley parfum de marly. Naxos by Xerjoff

I’m not a fan of a lot of blue fragrances. Can’t stand Y EDP, Dylan Blue, Prada Ocean. Those off the top of my head just smell horrible to me

I've always felt that they call them Blue fragrances because BDC was so big and everyone copied the idea.
I really like Sauvage "Eau de parfum", but the smell is a bit too similar to Versace Dylan Blue. Problem is Dylan Blue is much cheaper. I think the best "Sauvage" would be "Elixir". It has the Sauvage DNA and it doesn't smell like any other fragrance...

Bleu De Chanel Parfum, ain’t nothing classier.
For those less fortunate there are many variations to pick from and none are shown as frequently but at the end they will eventually take the 3rd one , go figure 😉!

Dior Sauvage EDP seems kind of redundant when you look at the original Dior Sauvage. I wish they had done more with that, but oh well
If you already have the edt, no doubt. But if you don’t and you’re looking for a classy 9-5 office safe scent the EDP works well.

Roja is by far the best on this list! Never debate on a roja! I own 7 from him and they are all just next level! You smell like wealth so roja is not for the gym😂

Might add next time with the Dior Sauvage that there's been a chance in production, thus it won't last as long and the projection is less.
For the EDT maybe, i have a pretty recent batch of the EDP and its still absolutely strong.

RL blue has actually became one of my dumb reaches because it leans soapy and I can wear it to work. It grew on me
I really liked this scent but the performance for me was about 3 hours than disappeared.
