I am staying in Cala Gonone, Porto San Paolo, and La Maddelena next month for 5 days. I really need 2-3 weeks to see more of Sardinia and I will go back next year for sure. Thanks for the video, it was great !!
Great job creating this video guide to Sardinia!!! It is the first time I have been able to grasp the geography of the island with its cultural aspects. Now I can go back to some of the more cinematic videos and understand all of the small details of the various locations. It’s like you put a puzzle together and it is exactly what I needed to see. Thank you for this.
Stayed just outside Olbia. The city itself is worth investigating, there are some lovely buildings, cafes and historical places of interest. The down side is parking, if driving, there are very few car parks apart from the main one near the port or the railway station. Driving was OK but the road network around and in Olbia is chaotic in design. The railway station is new, parking available outside but minimal facilities in the station, not even a ticket office just automated machines.
The best place to stay is Orosei. A but disappointed that the commentator did not mention the stunning beaches of “Su Barone”, “Osalla” and the breathtaking views and beaches from the nature reserve “Bidde e Rosa”.
