Really enjoyable video again 👍 remember when I was about 7 or 8 farm my dad was manager on got 2 Massey Ferguson potato harvesters but they had elevators to dump into trailers running alongside, I remember the Dextas pulling alongside the harvesters no problem but the 35s must have had a higher exhaust and a few of them ran about with bent exhausts 🙄😁 that is an amazing collection of crawlers 👌 never had much to do with them but always remember an old guy saying always let the donkey engine run out of fuel never switch it off with fuel in the system 👍 looking forward to seeing the 75 on the plough and also the next installment on the harvester 💪👍
Hello. Very interesting video. I was hoping to catch you at Casterton to ask if you would be interested in bringing the Diesel 75 to the Stradsett Park rally next May? They are featuring Caterpillar for the centenary year and as the 75 is the only one left in the UK it would be great to have it on display. If you are interested you can get our details from Richard Chatterton. Best Regards.
5:24 That donor Major appears to be a 6 cylinder engine from the New Performance Super Major era coupled to an earlier Major backend judging by the dashboard at least. I'm assuming all 6 cylinder Majors are conversions of some sort and that no E1A, Power or Super Majors left Dagenham with a 6 cylinder engine. I think you said in an earlier video that some E27N Majors left Dagenham as new with a Perkins P6 fitted.
@dellhell8842 yes p6 was fitted on the production line and no six cylinder fords were fitted only the likes of roadless and county were fitted from new
Good to see the major repaired you cannot beat a fordson major my favourite tractors ! And what fantastic collection of crawlers ! Great video again !
