*Gear update:* questlog.gg/throne-and-liberty/en/character-builder/RuinOfTheDriedMagic?build-id=283049 *Stat Distribution:* Since everyone asking for it... First of all you can see the stat distribution at 15:37 ;) But for leveling and in the early 50s put all your points into wisdom as long as you have mana problems. Then try to get to 50 strength for the additional 100 Heavy attack. The rest you can spend however you want. Nothing too critical. At the end just follow the guide on questloq! *Small correction:* Heavy Attacks can actually heavy attack. It just doubles the damage but does not show "2x" . So thats a little confusing :D I would still go for the "Damage" tree for the mastery but this makes the "recovery" tree for sure also a viable alternative :)
Question about the mastery, is the 2 Wisdom from the Wand Damage path permantly active if u use Wand as your Mainhand ? Even while u using bow skills and have a bow in your hand ?
After watching dozens, possibly over a 100 T&L videos this launch week, this one os BY FAR THE BEST AND MOST HELPFUL. Crystal clear presentation and explanation for newbs. Thanks dude.

Just heard about the game today and I love to heal so I can watch the game more as I play. Seems like a lot but I’ll give it a try today with this guide.. Thanks!
Hello, nice vid, great work after all and its cool that somebody finally agreed that even healer need to do at least some DPS and dont need 11 healing or utility spells in their build (also have 1 bar for dmg, 1 bar for heals/utility). Just - curses can do Heavy attack. It just dont say "x2" but you will see double amount of dmg it does. If you do 200 per normal stack of curse, then heavy will be 400 on display. On void it was seen last tick of your curses was heavy, then you was doing over 1100 dmg with your single 3 stack curse and thats not possible without heavy. You just simply can overwrite that heavy with normal attack curse and then the dmg go lower (1:04) you go from 1100+ -> 878 Still, great work and have a nice day!
Thank you so much for this guide! It was very clear and easy to understand 😊 I just started playing as a healer and now I feel ready to run my first dungeon
I throughly watched this video. I first watched a video saying the best builds for healing is wand/staff, then wand/shield then the outliers were wand/dagger and wand/bow. The video being 2 months ago I seeked put a video like this for the current meta. The way I see the builds is wand/staff&shield more relevant large scale pvp. Bow definitely looks like king for pve. I looked into all the stats and your explaination in this video is one of the bests I've seen on RUclips. As a future GM looking to be knowledgeable on the game I thank you
yes bow/wand is currently the best healing option in both PVE & PVP and especially in larges scale :) of course Wand/SNS is good but its not a healer. you heal your mates from time to time but you will focus on other stuff in fights. If you want to only heal then you are not playing SNS/Wand. Wand/Staff is also really good in large scale but it needs to get the T2 staff to really become as good as Wand/Bow and even then it provides more CC but when it comes to healing nothing beats BOW/Wand
Halfway in and already love the guide. Pretty detailed and you mentioned everything I needed to know. Well done! I'm lvl 24 and just starting out with them dungeons. Thx for the help! I shall be the most feared healer on my server XD.

Danke dafür. 😊 Denke ich werde nun auf dieses Build switchen. Außerdem finde ich deine Redensart sehr klar und sympathisch, habe also Mal ein Abo da gelassen.
Nice guide, clearest and most detailed one on healing I've seen, thanks. Any plans to release a full settings/keybinds video that you use for healing? I feel like mine aren't quite how I'd like them so I'd be interested in seeing how someone more familiar with the game/role is setup.
Ok brilliant, thanks for the reply. I was kinda hoping you would say that because the PVP video is broken down in a way that is easier to understand with the guide having an early and mid gear guide. My friends are only interested in PVP so ultimately that's what I will end up spending more of my time on.
@@grobsXO unfortunately PS5 hasn't allowed for us to pre-download the game so I am literally sitting around for another hour until launch and then hopefully I will be able to download it. All my friends are playing from PC, Steam has allowed them to install already.
Nice well put together guide, and i just want to point out 3 things: 2:16 still helpful in PVE as a protection buff on tank so he can survive if failed mech or intentionally failing the mech like in Butcher pass the sheep to tank so he can survive the explosion if the team do not have enough dmg to burst down the mage or they the team failed the mage phase. 2:53 Hum... Sleep is still useful in PVE if u spread it, it give u time to setup ur combo to nuke the mobs IF u solo. In team play its not gonna happen. In Butcher DG sleep is nice to have when u have to hard CC the mages to break link, unless u have a bunch of GS and Dagger user for this job. 9:35 as far as i know the english translation is wrong on mark. It does completely different thing, according some Korean streamer who did translate the skill to English properly. Unless devs already change that skill and updated the english tooltip for it.
So for shields, as I said, it is way too situational... wasting a slot on it is not necessary in my opinion. For AoE farming you can use it for setup but what I meant here with PVE was more dungeons in general. But you are right in some dungeons you may need the sleep, but that again is so situational. Translation already fixed. the current translation is correct :)
@@grobsXO True, but when i was healer i did like to put it on the tank in CoD when the boss do the triple slash attack to help him mitigate the dmg early on. If the tank is geared, then i did not use that skill at all. As i said that skill in dgs will be useful in early game when ppls have low gear, but if i saw right on KR new players now getting full +6 green and full +6/9 blue gear on lvling up. So it wont be much issue, unless help out some squishy DD on DA boss spin phase. AOE solo farm sleep was good till skill specialization, after that is is just to hep with ur CDs if u are under geared but still wanna aoe farm. I did use sleep in DA a lot on the knights as a fail safe if tank failed to CC them. Good to see they fixed the translation, but that should also mean they changed it. I did follow some streamers and they mentioned that skill going to change a bit.
@@Klannahar yeah they did some small changes. I think it was mentioned in the description that your cooldowns are reduced more then from your party members... and now just everyone gets 0,5% CDR per hit (for bosses). but also not 100% sure anymore^^

Just wanted to say that you are amazing at what you are doing!! This game seems complex and having the information you are providing is reeeally helpful. Explaining the reasons behind every choice really helps in understanding the game better and, even when the meta will change in the future and this build will be outdated, it makes me feel like with these information I can make my own choices on my future builds
Thanks for the video! Do you have a video showing how you grind solo in open world dungeons? Also, could you share what skill combination you use for grinding? How do you feel about using wand and bow together? Do you enjoy playing that way, or do you find solo content challenging?
thanks. a lof of people asking for open world grinding. so I will do probably a video about it. In PVE its not boring but also also not more.. but its really fun in PVP :)
Very nice and informative video. Right to the core! I like that you are considering the full healing/utility vs having some dmg tradeoff. It reminds me to LostArk that from the beginning you could be playing Bard/Paladin slightly loose since the starting content and raids wasn’t requiring full support dedication. Maybe late game you will decide to include shields, sleeps and stuff but for starter this is only thing we need. Later when we will learn the game more in depth we could include some additional flavors depending our play style. One important question: where can we see real playtime from you healing in dungeons maybe with commentaries or so on? I couldn’t found you on twitch. Again, thanks for the good work not only on this video but all the others too. Great concept. Keep on rocking! 🤘🏼
not having something currently on youtube and I am not on twich ^^ My guild starts on the actual release... Maybe I will create an charackter and level him quickly to record some stuff. lets see. not 100% sure.
i've been following a guide on maxroll. its a guide that tells you everything for your class from what to choose per chapter reward, what you put your stat points in, what skills to level, what gear to use, etc etc. pretty neat site if you wanna check it out!
I think dex, wis, perc should be the focuses in that order. You can do wis over dex if you're really just going pure healing and supp. But in dungeons so far at lv 35 iv been doing a ton of dmg while also being the healer. It's quite fun.
About everything he called useless is actually useful lol. - Sleep can be handy when party is missing stuns. The passive that makes it an instant sleep works as an interupt. - The wand shield skill is amazing to catch aoe party hits to give you breathing room to use your heal skills, just take the passive so it's an AOE shield. - Blessed Barrier can be turned into a single ally target damage buff. On yourself it's a huge heal buff for all of your skills. Same goes for Time for Punishment. These are your "oh shit" buttons to do a full party Heal.
Sleep: taking the sleep which will be needed in 1% of the dungeon runs... better wipe ones :D AOE shield: is just 100% not needed. blessed barrier: yes you can turn into a damage buff but the cooldown is sadly too long to be actually useful. can be situational good if used on xbow dagger because flat base damage is more impactful on them. time for punishment: you never want to change that because its better to increase the damage of the whole party then just of one person
@@grobsXO If that's your conclusion then I'm glad to hear you have great groups to do runs with. Sadly when you're doing matchmaking there's mistakes people make, and you're there to catch people slacking. In Deaths abyss it can happen someone pulls in another knight about charge his one shot. Its very handy to have an extra person on standby to interrupt there. Second boss makes people float, you can interrupt there too. Butchers Canyon has the shamans who make other mobs invulnerable, Shamans who turn people into sheep, etz. AOE shield is great for catching damage from AOE's on the party. It provides almost the same health value as your AOE heal. It saved my groups multiple times in Deaths Abyss, Cursed Wasteland and Cave of Destruction. A plethora of times it's just too useful to drop. The buffs, sure, in your case i think it's reasonable to say that when you run str. If you run dex/perception then upkeep is no problem, and can provide more than 1k extra heal on skills. So to clarify i have no issue with your build. Only you calling some of our skills useless :P
just click on him. you always have a friendly player as a target and an enemy at the same time. So you can hit the boss and at the same time heal you teammates
First of all, great video ! Started playing the game, searched a YT videos, but yours, is by far the best one and which gives clearity!! In this video you recommend Wand and Bow als suport healer. Do you also recommend Wand / Staff? Its kinda seems more natural to me and i do enjoy magic dmg. Is its also viable?
Blessed Barrier is the most important part of healing and I find people misunderstand it's use. When you need a massive heal you pop it before swift healing to increase the targets healing for 2 seconds. If you time it right you can get 3 back to back swift heals in this window
I get it but its not needed PVE. Its just the sad truth. I love the spell and its insane in PVP but you just don need it in PVE. Then you will take one less damage spell... I wish they would make healing in PVE more challenging for the healer but its sadly not about active healing S:
@@grobsXO I never made it far enough into the Korean version to see people dodge correctly and tanks consistently miss blocks as well. Great content and thank you
@@grobsXO Thats a interesting comment...I was hoping for healers to be challenged by the content so far. This might make me play a different class archetype all together.
I used this guide i went healer from lvl 1 and i have no problem yet I really think this guide can use lvling skiils THANKS AGAIN FOR A GREAT BUILD ❤@@grobsXO
yes I will do also other class guides :) The current plan is to do a Tank Guide (Greatsword/SNS) and then a DPS Guide (Staff/Bow). Thats just because I played those combinations a lot... So in the future I will for sure also do a Paladin guide but probably not in the near future :S
So, you should have Wand in primary hand? Think this would confuse many new players since the build is called "Bow/Wand". Your videos are really good btw 👌
oh lol :D it really doesnt matter too much. it just defines your auto attacks. In PVP you always want to have the bow as primary weapon because it gives you through the mastery passive additional skill damage resistance but for PVE it really doesnt matter
@@grobsXO Sorry, didn't see that this question had been answered further down. What I didn't see in the comments or video is what attributes to focus on first?
Good Morning, which weapon combination did you like? Which is the most fun in your opinion? Which stats should be prefered till level 50 as Bow/Wand? So you play as Bow/Wand and not Wand/Bow - correct?
I think all of them are super fun :) I really loved playing Staff/bow for example! You focus on wisdom as long as you have mana problems! Bow/wand and wand/bow are the same class.
Not sure if you have played around with Natures blessing since the recent update, the traits make it one of the best heals in the game now if combined with touch or you use the cooldown reset and double tap it, in mid game you can see ticks of 2.5-3.5k HoT, probably too much for PvE but great for PvP
Sorry if it's in the comments somewhere, what order/priority should I use passive tomes to level passives? Also, what traits should I be going for on gear unless that's coming? Like, the empty trait slots. Great guide though! Thanks
when I talk about the gear you can see it. You can also use the questlog link. But at the beginning put all points into wisdom till you dont have mana problems anymore
At 13:31 you are talking about the masteries. I thought the passives are only active if you swap the weapon to your main hand and they count for all skills on your bar. Or did they change anything?
no. if you use a skill you see your character is swapping the weapon. that means in that moment when he uses the skill he takes the mastery from that weapon when swapps back to your main weapon then the masteries again chance. thats why you also have to level both of your weapons. its not sufficient to have only 1 weapon leveled. Hopefully that helps :)
@@grobsXO Ok, thanks. So this is kinda confusing. All passives from the masteries that give stats (max health, mana/life reg, block chance etc.) are only active if you have this weapon as your main. Because you are not losing health if I use a skill from the 2nd weapon without swapping. If I swap I can see that my health goes down. All passives that are related to a skill (hit, crit, heavy attack, cdr etc.) are always active when i use the skill from this weapon. This is how it works?
Hi! thanks for the vid, im gonna try your build:) But i have one question, could you add the skills you use to the Gear build that you put in the description?
I need a new MMO player guide to healing. Like what buttons and skills. What weapons. Where to stand. How to tell who to heal. How to know when to heal etc 😂
*Gear update:* questlog.gg/throne-and-liberty/en/character-builder/RuinOfTheDriedMagic?build-id=283049

@@grobsXOOh i thought you are playing healer as a main character. There is certainly no need for you to level it up just for demo purposes :))
@@GonzoGev yes I played healer in korea but thats boring with a full geared charackter. would only make sense on release
Great video, any chance in the future to make a video on keybinds for healer targeting and casting? I can see you have skills on your scroll wheel....
I guess I have too :D because a lot are asking for that :D
Not sure if i missed it , but what do I put my stats points in? Such as str/dex/wisdom? Or do I save them for after I get my gear
i've been following a guide on maxroll. its a guide that tells you everything for your class from what to choose per chapter reward, what you put your stat points in, what skills to level, what gear to use, etc etc. pretty neat site if you wanna check it out!
I also have the same question lol!
I think dex, wis, perc should be the focuses in that order. You can do wis over dex if you're really just going pure healing and supp. But in dungeons so far at lv 35 iv been doing a ton of dmg while also being the healer. It's quite fun.
love this.. i feel like i should get more healings and less dmg tho cause this feels advanced when you are good enough and can avoid healing as much
you dont need ^^ when the game was released we even had less heal skills available :D you really dont need more heals :)
@@grobsXO alright then I try it out, hope lost ark got me ready for this I've heard the pve content is a breeze compared to it 😅
thanks, healers are the bests!
20:59 where can i find that HP Bar setup?
About everything he called useless is actually useful lol.
- Sleep can be handy when party is missing stuns. The passive that makes it an instant sleep works as an interupt.
- The wand shield skill is amazing to catch aoe party hits to give you breathing room to use your heal skills, just take the passive so it's an AOE shield.
- Blessed Barrier can be turned into a single ally target damage buff. On yourself it's a huge heal buff for all of your skills. Same goes for Time for Punishment. These are your "oh shit" buttons to do a full party Heal.
Sleep: taking the sleep which will be needed in 1% of the dungeon runs... better wipe ones :D
AOE shield: is just 100% not needed.
blessed barrier: yes you can turn into a damage buff but the cooldown is sadly too long to be actually useful. can be situational good if used on xbow dagger because flat base damage is more impactful on them.
time for punishment: you never want to change that because its better to increase the damage of the whole party then just of one person
@@T0b1maru thats the beauty of TL :) you have so many build options :) but I am actually also just doing party finder ^^
Great guide, would love a gear update
done
I’d like to see your farming build for the healer.
you will find some good stuff on youtube ;)
how do you "pick" the tank for the vampiric contract passive? still learning so much
just click on him. you always have a friendly player as a target and an enemy at the same time. So you can hit the boss and at the same time heal you teammates
@@grobsXO dang, see I fully don't grasp this games targeting yet. ty!
thanks bro
this is super fun later on :)
@@grobsXO im a bit confused how to alocate my stat points saw lvl 50 how it is but im 34 now any tips ?
A guide for solo open world grind would be lovely
yeah a lot of people asking for that. need to find time for that :S
how about a settings video? I feel like healing is tough and it feels like it is due to the settings? I LOVE your guides!
I didnt do any settings for healing ^^
First of all, great video ! Started playing the game, searched a YT videos, but yours, is by far the best one and which gives clearity!! In this video you recommend Wand and Bow als suport healer. Do you also recommend Wand / Staff? Its kinda seems more natural to me and i do enjoy magic dmg. Is its also viable?
totally fine. is really really good. will do in the next weeks also a build guide on it :)
Big thanks for the amazing guide. you are a real bro. One Question: Is Crossbow / Wand viable? i really like crossbow tho. Best Greetz from germany !
in PVE everything is viable or you can make it viable :)
Great content and thank you
@@JHorsepower1 thanks :)
@@grobsXO Thats a interesting comment...I was hoping for healers to be challenged by the content so far. This might make me play a different class archetype all together.
@@Jinir sorry :S
Great guide
I'm Actually considering playing healer on launch
nice :)
I used this guide i went healer from lvl 1 and i have no problem yet
I really think this guide can use lvling skiils
THANKS AGAIN FOR A GREAT BUILD ❤@@grobsXO
Smooth and informative video. Thank you.
Will you make other ''classes'' guides?
I'm looking something similar deep dive for Paladin.
yes I will do also other class guides :) The current plan is to do a Tank Guide (Greatsword/SNS) and then a DPS Guide (Staff/Bow). Thats just because I played those combinations a lot... So in the future I will for sure also do a Paladin guide but probably not in the near future :S
Can you please update this guide or confirm if it is up to date? This guide was easy to follow but im not sure if its still up to date.
the skills are up to date.. items will be updated throughout the week
@@Aelyf wisdom as long you have mana problems :)
Awesome video - thank you!
I got only question please: How do you scroll between your party members to select the one you want to heal?
just bind them in options or click on them
High quality stuff.
Super Video. Würdest du evtl. Auch dein Hud Layout zum heiler hochladen? Wäre sehr nett von dir :)
@@grobsXO Interesting. I`m not sure between Staff/Bow or XBow/Bow but for this combo`s are very limited guides ^^
@@drdaddydanger1546 play what looks fun for you. most important :)
what a nice guide
:)
Not sure if you have played around with Natures blessing since the recent update, the traits make it one of the best heals in the game now if combined with touch or you use the cooldown reset and double tap it, in mid game you can see ticks of 2.5-3.5k HoT, probably too much for PvE but great for PvP
yeah it can be really good for PVP but for PVE really just an overkill :D But I like the idea to double tap it with blitz... sounds not bad
can you make wand/staff guide plss
Please post the pvp version of the build :P
is updated. check new link in the pvp guide
Sorry if it's in the comments somewhere, what order/priority should I use passive tomes to level passives? Also, what traits should I be going for on gear unless that's coming? Like, the empty trait slots. Great guide though! Thanks
doesnt matter..just get all to purple. you leave them empty till t2 gear
Would love a farming open world wand/xyz build
Is the equipment u to date? I really enjoy this guide and want to follow it :)
Can you please do wand staff pve/pvp build, this was so helpfull
maybe in the future :S
17:46 how can we get our hands on that armor when Queen Bellandur is not even available to be fought yet?
This build has been created before global release. Build is updated
You talk like the paladin guy from techtonica🔥
haha whoever this is :D
gutes Video, kannst du noch eins machen mit Wand/Staff pls :)
Are you going to make a video where you compare the possibilities which combination you can use for the support ? Something like a Pro/Con stuff.
sounds like a great video :D but just dont have time for this ... the videos till release are already planned
What should be the stats allocation on this? Great video
when I talk about the gear you can see it. You can also use the questlog link. But at the beginning put all points into wisdom till you dont have mana problems anymore
can you do also a guide for wand/dagger, focused on damage dealing, with additional healing on the side.
its now on the list... but not sure when I will find time for that.
Will you pull out an up-to-date video?
I saw typed that you’d update it lol
its up to date... its just the gear and I CANT because I dont know where the stuff drops :D we have to wait...
@@grobsXO ooooh ok lmao
Hi kannst du ein Vid zur Tastenbelegung und IU-Setup mach ?
kommt die tage
This is best healer I found on RUclips but, when will you update it? Is it still relevant with global release?
Do you max all your skills? Or will there be a mana consumption problem. If so can you let me know what skills to max out?
maxing out your skills dont make you lose more mana with it ^^ of course in the long run you want to max out all your skills for this build
@@DankoDable Yes. sounds stupid and it is. But thats how it is :S
i play solo alot but want to be a healer for when i do dungeons and pvp. any recommendations or do you have a video for that?
Staff Wand is perfect for that! You can make 3 loadouts so you can have a healer/solo dps/party dps loadouts
Hi! thanks for the vid, im gonna try your build:) But i have one question, could you add the skills you use to the Gear build that you put in the description?
yeah I will do it as soon as I find time for that :S
nice sharing. I ask you, can you add green and blue items to the build? I just started and watched your video. Can you also write a skill combination?
its irrelevant as I mentioned in the guide ^^
Nice guide. I just have one question. What about the level stats distribution?
Everything into wisdom till you dont have mana problems anymore
@@grobsXO Thanks.. this is the best guide I've come across so far.
I need a new MMO player guide to healing. Like what buttons and skills. What weapons. Where to stand. How to tell who to heal. How to know when to heal etc 😂
just do dugneons you will get used to it :)
Great video! thx, like and sub. this build works well with solo content? solo bosses? or suggest any changes?
works totally fine.. of course you can optimize stuff but overall it works like this fine :)
