Actually for this call after the repairs and inspecting the system it came out to $200. we could’ve charged more, but we try to take care of our elderly customers.
Great job; poor owner; most likely an older person. Who in the world installed that for that poor homeowner before?!! What a horrible job; all the energy is being wasted into the air. Looks like people have just come there , take the homeowner money and just slapped some cheap tape instead of fixing it properly. Have to be real slim to work under there; hate bugs and wouldn't be able to go under that crawl space.
Whoever installed it in the first place did a crap job on the duct work. I have noticed many crappy install jobs in craw space applications. I think many dont like working in crawspaces. Great job.
I'm certainly no expert, but shouldn't the homeowner have noticed something was wrong a few days after this first happened? If this happened during the winter, it seems like it would've been colder than usual in the house at the temperature the thermostat was set at and they should've noticed that. I mean, it seems like they'd either have to turn the heat up to make up for the heat loss, or the system would've just been running constantly at the set temperature to make up for the heat loss. In either case, the homeowner should've noticed. Any time something goes wrong with our heat pump, I notice almost immediately. I can tell by the temperature change and the sounds the system makes, or doesn't make. I'm not criticizing, I'm just puzzled and trying to make sense of it.
I know what you're saying, but from experience (don't ask with who), I can say for sure that there are just some people who are completely oblivious to this kind of thing. They'd have no idea how the house should feel at a given thermostat setting, and if they notice the house feels cool or warm, they'd chalk it up to the weather and just raise or lower the thermostat!
I understand where you’re coming from. Our customer did say she noticed the house didn’t keep temperature nearly as well as it was supposed to, but the high power bill was the last straw that made her call us.
I believe you are referring to the heat strips when it is really cold outside, and the heat pump struggles to keep the set temperature those act as supplemental heat to keep you comfortable, or when your system is not working properly. You can switch it over to emergency heat, so you can stay comfortable..
She kept the rodents warm !!! Professionally done 😊
Thank you
You’re a hero to that homeowner. Well done.
Thank you sir.
So sad 2 see! thanks for posting this
Thank you for watching
That's another $600 in repairs right there.

Indoor rated flex duct and duct board under a house. The cheap bid always wins.
Great job guys!
@@johnvanwinkle4351 thank you very much

Thank you. I believe when some people work in a crawlspace. They get the nobody will ever see this mentality and just slap it together.

It had been way colder than average that month. And that is what she was a attributing to the long run times and colder feel
Or just pay you to do it. Yes I will look before you get there and not tell you I did just to see how honest you are.
What were those objects in the other duct?
