If you’re just starting out on your channel (like me), don’t make the mistake of waiting until you have a camera like this before making your videos. Don’t wait! As long as you make great, helpful content, people can overlook video quality. Save up for a great camera, yes, but start filming with what you got right now! Go make some good stuff happen!
That’s great point. As a beginner I just want to buy a camera can focus on my content. I don’t want to have to pay $500 for the m50 body then cough up another $400 lens required to get the blurry background look.
Is that a good combo, for example, streaming (online teaching)? I have this camera, but I am terrible to learn how lenses work, what’s best for what, I learn and I forget, and it frustrates me. I am almost selling it and getting the zv1. Or before going that rooster... should I get the sigma lens?
Hi ! Loved your review. I wanted to buy a vlogging camera to do beauty RUclips videos at home. I previously got a camera that was not the right choice for beauty vlogging. So i feel with the product focus features, beauty skin smoothening features and screen flip feature this Sony zv camera would be the ideal choice for me. Please give me your openion if u feel this is the right camera for a beauty vlogger ( 900$ ) Thanks 🙂
I am new. Just starting out. Trying to provide good content that is interesting for my students at the high school level and at the college level. I already have a Canon M50, but I am trying to decide to get another camera (Canon M50 Mark II) or go outside my brand. I have an ATEM Mini and a Rodecaster Pro. Trying to put out good quality content. Still learning. What are your thoughts?
Hello - noob here! Thinking about getting the Canon M50 or Nikon Z50. Does anyone have any suggestions for a not-too-expensive lighting rig that can be elevated fairly high? Thank you all!
Please explore full frame prices and lmk if you still think this is expensive 😂 literally pocket change compared to the higher end cameras. Absolutely amazing what they've put into that small, but powerful camera!
This was a perfect review ! Very quick , to the point and mentioned all the points I cared for. 4K isn’t something I care for but I do love crispy videos, I’m going with the ZV1! I would have loved more audio footage of both cameras though.
I just bought the ZV-1. I've had it for just a few days. So far, I'm loving it. I have other Sony cameras so I didn't want to have to learn a whole new system. I'm liking what I see out of the ZV-1 a whole lot.
I bought the ZV1 as well and absolutely love it. So easy to use. Getting used to the different settings but right out of the box that thing is incredible. Just turn in on and go.
I use canon eos 6d I bought 5 years ago for shooting my food recipes videos and photographs and it still serves me perfectly well. I love canon products.
I have the m50. I might as well get the Sony as a going out camera. In about 2 or 3 years when the price drops but I like the fact that I can change the lens with the canon
Hi, there's a wide angle makrothing from ulamzi, also a cage where you can put a power bar ...just to give you an idea...but it is still too expensive in my eyes as well...have fun.
Great video, I have the Canon M50 and I am a bit disappointed with the battery life, if you decide to get one then make sure you get additional batteries because you cannot power it externally unless you get that special battery that connects to power.
I got monetized with my 80 dollar Kodak Playsport. Then I bought a low end Canon. Start creating with what you can afford. And remember that Sony deliberately took the sensor market as a disruptive to CCD (CMOS was crap at the time) with the giant Kumamoto factory, so you would be surprised at how many manufacturers actually use Sony sensors.
I bought myself an M50 last week and i love it! Quality is excellent and the interchangeable lenses are so useful over the zv-1. I think for my purpose (photography and cinematography) the rigging options are the best with the M50.
Mine came with the kit lens and a week later I bought the ef-m 55-200mm and last summer I bought the ef 50mm with the viltrox adapter! I'm now saving up for a nice wide angle lens and a wildlife lens.
I bought the ZV-1 a few weeks back. I'm hooked. It checks off all the boxes I need for vlogging and other videos. The 4K is super CRISPY!! Yes the focal length is a bit tight but it's not much different from the Canon G7X Mark II i used to vlog on. Plus I have a switchpod which improves the focal length for me. I think it's a great camera and especially for beginners because it's turn key for the most part.
I have the Canon M50 and love it. The ability to change lenses is really important to me. I was looking for an additional camera like the ZV-1 but it was a little out of my price range. I wound up getting a refurbished G7X mark ii on the Canon website for $400 but if the price was equal I would definitely have gone with the ZV-1.
Would love to hear your thoughts between the a6100 and the z50. I have about 10 nikon lenses. But I am tossed up between the z50 with the FtoZ adapter; or selling every4hing and getting the a6600. I just sold my nikon D80. I am thinking what to upgrade my d3100 to. The zv1 was an upgrade for my nikon p7100.
I just bought the canon m50, after seeing these Sony comparisons, I have no regrets. I love the customization options with the m50. Plus 4K is still overrated. M50 is so affordable that I wouldn’t mind spending on another camera in 2-3 years when 4K might actually matter.
But have u noticed how soft the 1080p video of the M50 is?? It just lacks clarity and crispness(sharpness). I know u can bring it close to other 1080p video quality with the sigma 18-35mm 1.8...but that lens cost more than the camera itself..I;m saying this coz when i bought the M50 mark II i was utterly dissapointed with the 720p like 1080p video quality. For me, the M50 is good enough for talking heads or vlogging as u can just blur the backgrounds anyway but when filming just something as simple as people passing by, the softness is just too noticeable...
I already have a ZV-1 and thought the M50 would be a nice secondary camera for video. Then I started comparing the two. Now I think I'll just buy a second ZV-1.
I actually have both and I like to record in 4k which makes the M50 a bit obsolete. I recently got the ZV1 and it is phenomenal. Definitely recommend it.
I own a number of Nikon, Sony, and Canon cameras ranging from very high end pro-level to vacation style point n shoot. Some are camera bodies with a wide array of lenses. Some are with built in lenses. For travel or outside work (NON STATIONARY STUFF) I always go with a camera body plus lenses. Nothing is worse than having a lens stick, not work, fog up or get moisture when it's your ONLY lens. It can be the difference of changing lenses or being stopped cold by a malfunction. I learned this lesson early on when I was shooting photos and videos at military bases for graduation day events. I often was in the bull pen with AP photographers and they schooled me quickly about the value of having a camera body with interchangeable lens, especially when wintertime cold, snow, ice, extreme summertime heat are factors within your shooting areas. Hope these points help someone to make the right camera investment for your own needs. Remember, most of the average photography will be done outside in nature's living room rather than indoors except for vlogs and weddings, etc.
That 2.6ish (2.55 - 2.72) crop factor on the Sony is a deal breaker. That crop factor suggests a few things 1) That sensor must be tiny 2) Tiny sensor = poor low light 3) Tiny sensor = Low image Resolution which limits image cropping, resizing and other editing options in post production. I'd go M50.
I'm going with Sony. Currently using my iPhone and a Galaxy 8 on a DJI Osmo 3. What is important for me is the weight of the camera. A camera with a big lens will be hard to hold steady for me at arm's length. Jumping from the phone to camera I want something economical too.
Dang I was confused between M50 and M6 Mark ii until I watched this video, now im even more confused I added the sony to the list 🤣🤣, this video is so damn good
Nice video! I think the ZV-1 wins this hands down. The only down side it has (against the M50, 90D, Sl3) is they have lens options for macro, and the touch screen menu for on the fly changes. For good photo, video, audio (which the rode wireless go would couple well with the ZV-1) but I dont see the need unless your in a really noisy environment, stabilization, focus, clean hdmi out, no record limit, no 4k crop, good in low light, internal USB charging and can use a power bank, charge while using, you can see the audio bars on the screen so you know you have audio (or if you dont, you'll know right away) product showcase mode, de-focus for blurry background, and no need for adapters, lenses, microphone, carry bag, and far less editing time, its clearly a winner. Straight up $1000 and nothing (or not much else needed) cant beat that really. Im a Canon user (of the above cameras) and I just recently ordered this little guy to take on spur of the moment trips and outdoor ventures (put it in the pocket and go basically) Im anxious to get it and see how it does.
I bought the zv1 and found it brand new for 649 I grabbed it because of this video I was originally going with the m50 until I seen this honest review on both
Got some questions. 1. Does it have clean HDMI out? 2. If yes, do I have to turn off autofocus? 3. Does the display stay on when using HDMI out? 4. Does HDMI out work when recording video? Thanks ahead of time!
@@wrench. I actually found the perfect Tripod for Amazon Fire tablets (or any tablet) from Five Below for about $10 locally. You might have better luck finding really good quality Camera equipment at that store. It's worth it in my opinion.
I feel for 2020 onwards, 4K is better and more future proof especially for those content creators on the RUclips platform. The reasoning behind it is the codec that RUclips uses when you upload a video to your RUclips channel. If you upload in 4K, your video will go through the new codec which is VP9. It is more efficient in compression and built to deliver 4K content. If you upload in HD, then the old codec AVC1 will be deployed which is far more aggressive in it's compression hence the video quality is compressed further. Anyway, that is just my thought in regards to the M50 disadvantage on capturing 4K content.
you don't need 4k for 90% of youtube, stop pushing pointless things. if that is truly the case, the just export your 1080p footage on 4k. good 1080p with proper lighting and good exposure plus correct motion blur combine with good colours is more important
I always ended up going back to the kit lens and the other 2 lenses I had were hardly used, ZV-1 seems to do everything the M50 user(me) wanted the M50 to do - I'm not a beginner but I am certain the ZV-1 is an upgrade on M50
AMAZING video! You literally answered all my questions and were straight to the point. I'll be getting most likely the Sony zv-1! Thank you thank you thank you!
Hello sir... im going to choose CANON EOS M50, because its beautiful and you can change the lense into difference function or situations. THANKYOU for good explanations.
I have the zv-1 and love it. I use it as a video input device for OBS. I use OBS to record my videos that way I have a huge display where I can clearly see what I am doing. I make instructional videos for jewelry and having that super sharp closeup fast focusing capability is what I was looking for. The skin tones are extremely flattering. I set the camera to 4K and shoot with the highest resolution in OBS so that I can extract stills from the footage in FCP. Having high resolution stills from video clips spares me the trouble of having to have an additional camera on set for stills. I output at 1080p so the file size isn’t so big. This camera is the best! As for audio, I do like the Rode wireless go very much, but the Sony UHF wireless system with a Countryman mic sounds much better. The only thing I don’t like is if you are shooting with OBS or even QuickTime, the skin soften filter does not work.
Just picked up the Sony zv1 and couldn’t be happier. Previously used the canon g7x mark ii. I love the simplicity of the Sony for beginners! The external mic option and side flip out screen were the two features that sold me. The product showcase is another awesome feature that I will utilize often and being able to adjust everything I need by the touch of a button, is awesome! Only complaint is the battery life. I purchased three extra batteries right after buying the camera, I expected this as I watched multiple reviews prior to purchasing. Other than that, great video quality and very simple for beginners! Oh, I also picked up the Ulanzi wide angle lens which I would recommend for anyone using this camera for vlogging!
Yes of course... These guys usually used high-end Mirrorless Cameras like Sony A7R IV, Canon R5 or R6, Panasonic GH5, Nikon Z6 II, or Nikon Z7 II, and those are very expensive cameras. If you will use your camera for a living, you make money out of it then you have to invest, buy any of those and you will not be disappointed. This Sony ZV-1 is for beginners and those who have a tight budget, this is a do it all camera, so it's good for starters. If you noticed those big product endorsers on youtube, they always say that they want this camera as back-up only because it is portable and light, and can give them the better result they wanted.
So leaning toward the ZV1! We’ve been filming our vlog on my iPhone because it’s easy and accessible. Our vlog, The Ginchiest, is about living with disabilities and we need equipment that’s easy to use, lightweight and not difficult to manipulate (open the battery pack, media slots, etc). I wish I could test it out before dropping $800!
Yes I have the Canon M50 It is a every good camera I am still testing it out I have not use it to upload any videos to RUclips as yet I am still using my phone but I love if it's pretty light once you get to know the Canon M50 it's a pretty good vlogging camera I love it
I’m really hoping my hubby gets me the Sony for Christmas! I would really love to have it for my channel. Thanks for all the wonderful information on both these cameras. You gained a new sub.
The perfect time to start youtube is today. The perfect camera will just follow. So don't waste time waiting. Go get your smartphone and start recording.😉👍
Wow, didn't even know the ZV1 has live stream capability that is awesome! Super excited to see more think media videos about the ZV1 (especially since we grabbed one lol). A "best settings" video for the ZV1 would be dope. Very interested to see what you think is best in terms of ISO, etc. We left everything on auto for the first two videos and the quality is good, but it adjusts the light with movement a little too much on auto.
Started with a gopro 7black, then The Canon g7x mk2 and it worked just fine! Upgraded to Sony a6400, founf video and photography really fun and invested in The a7iii. Sold my a6400 and got The zv1 for vlogging. Its a little tight as you say but its so easy to bring and thats The biggest thing for me! Now i sold my a7iii and got The sony a7c and if there is something that ive learned its that The most important thing is not what gear you have but what you actually create! With smaller cameras i actually bring them with me and shoot with them in public. So a big tip is to not focus to much on gear but to just shoot alot and do it your way! (and also invest some money in descent audio because thats really important to) 🤩👍
WHICH one's better though M50 or SL3? I have watched a couple of comparisons but I see M50 everywhere It would be my first camera so what would you recommend?
Question of the Day ⚡ Do you like the Canon M50 or Sony ZV-1 better? Let us know! 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼 ****** Check out the Canon M50 HERE ➡️ amzn.to/2Z3MEbJ ***** Check out the Sony ZV-1 HERE ➡️ amzn.to/3iE4IRo
I have been trying to see what alternatives I can get for the ZV1 and I thought the M50 would be a good camera but when you showed how the autofocus doesn't work when shooting 4k I just couldn't let go. With each review I see comparing the ZV1 to other cameras the ZV1 always wins
the thing I like about the rx is that you can charge it with any battery bank with usb port vs m50 you'll need a 6v+ battery bank plus a dummy battery.
The ZV-1 is definitely the winner here; I would REALLY love to see a comparison between the ZV-1 vs the Panasonic G85. I’m considering that one right now and want to make sure I pick the best option available (especially since most of my content is filmed outdoors).
Also, the other problem I have with the M50 is that if it is mounted to a tripod, you have to take the tripod bracket off the camera to get to the SD card or battery and that is a real pain.
True, but its just possible to use another bracket, which doesnot interfere. Other possibility is to use rig cage, you can use dummy battery with external power from power bank etc.
Re: the M50 and having to hide your face when doing a product review... wouldn't Single Point AF mode work great for this? Other videos show that mode is awesome for product reviews. Thanks, Omar!
I’ve just recorded my first video on my newly purchased M50 and currently editing it. I got it price matched and paid £499 with the 15-45mm lens. Bargain in my eyes!
Your videos are super clear, professional and wonderfully framed. Could you do a video, or a take a pic on the setup. Lights? camera height and distance, are sitting or standing, etc.? Thanks so much!
Hi, I purchased the ZV1 after watching a review from your channel, and it’s expected to be delivered today 😬. I would love a video about how to set it up for youtube and cameras beginners!
Think media has helped me so much so far within helping with the right audio and lenses so thank you guys so much I love you guys so much and keep doing what you’re doing “LATER” 🖥📹💽💻📲🎙⌨️
I’m new to vlogging, RUclips and all that (so new I’m actually just using my phone 😂) and found this video so helpful! I’m leaning more towards the Sony; I love the size, picture quality and focus; my content is mostly skincare products so I truly feel like this would be the camera for me (also, my phone has decided that it doesn’t want to take ANY more photos or videos 🙄) Thanks for the information!
Seems like the SONY is the winner, unless you are into serious VLOGGING, for every other use case scenario, I’d go with the SONY 💯 the extra dollars of the SONY seem worth it for the extra quality it brings.
Wow as a new youtuber this video was perfect to help me decide on which camera I should get. Straight to the point and told me everything I needed to know! I think I'm gonna go with the ZV-1.
I opted for the zv1. With being a photographer, I know all about shooting in manual and adjusting everything. However, I just wanted a camera that basically was a simple as my phone, with better features. I rather concentrate on my content. I looked at the m50 months ago. While it was a display model, I found the flippy screen resolution atrocious. The rolling shutter was horrible. And the 4k crop was way too cropped in for my usage. The zv1 is perfect for an outdoorsman. On intelligent auto, it switches between landscape, macro, and portrait modes depending what it in front of the lens. In manual mode, I can dial in my settings quickly. The 4k is really 6k then down sampled; so the resolution is super crispy. I put out my own review if the zv1. The battery life isn't that bad. I find it on par with my gopro. About 2hrs of shooting. My only complaint, is I wish the lens could zoom out more. I turned on digital zoom to give me that extra reach. I don't find the video degrades with the digital zoom, as compared to other cameras (unless you're in low light). I love my zv1.
I watched your review and from reading your comment here might I suggest the 18mm Wide Angle lens for the ZV-1 amzn.to/38n0RFG It's definitely worth checking out.

When it comes to the ZV-1 = Less is more! You will get the look you want without having to think about investing in a lens - that’s a win in my book
That’s great point. As a beginner I just want to buy a camera can focus on my content. I don’t want to have to pay $500 for the m50 body then cough up another $400 lens required to get the blurry background look.

Excellent video! I was almost decided to buy the M50 but I finally changed my mind and will go for the ZV-1-
What’s cool is even when you abruptly turned the camera with the Sony to the background with the people it blurred them out 🙌🙌🙌 I Love That!

I'm going with Sony. Currently using my iPhone and a Galaxy 8 on a DJI Osmo 3. What is important for me is the weight of the camera. A camera with a big lens will be hard to hold steady for me at arm's length. Jumping from the phone to camera I want something economical too.
Dang I was confused between M50 and M6 Mark ii until I watched this video, now im even more confused I added the sony to the list 🤣🤣, this video is so damn good
haha same gurl
Did you get the Sony camera?
@@lifeistoshorttolookback No I got the M6 Mark ii
@@allthingshellen7039 Oh, ok thanks.
@@allthingshellen7039 same doubt. What advantages has M6 that made you to decide? Thanks
I think will need both. Indoor and outdoor youtube.
Im a Canon user (of the above cameras) and I just recently ordered this little guy to take on spur of the moment trips and outdoor ventures (put it in the pocket and go basically)
Im anxious to get it and see how it does.
Seriously looking at stepping up to the M50, still. Thanks for the shootout!
I really want that ZV-1! Been obsessed with it sense hearing about it!
I bought the zv1 and found it brand new for 649 I grabbed it because of this video I was originally going with the m50 until I seen this honest review on both
where did you get it for that price?
This is exactly what I needed. There are too many things I don't care for in the MarkII, so thank you for showing us a good contender!
Got some questions.
1. Does it have clean HDMI out?
2. If yes, do I have to turn off autofocus?
3. Does the display stay on when using HDMI out?
4. Does HDMI out work when recording video?
Thanks ahead of time!
This is the best informational video for both of these cameras! Thank you so much!
Yo' that ZV-1 is dope. I've got a canon, I'm a canon guy but you can't deny what ZV-1 can do lol
The prices of these cameras aren't that bad. I'd save up for either or to buy next year.
Same that’s a great thing to think about that’s what I’ve been doing for my equipment
@@wrench. I actually found the perfect Tripod for Amazon Fire tablets (or any tablet) from Five Below for about $10 locally. You might have better luck finding really good quality Camera equipment at that store. It's worth it in my opinion.

The m50 is on saleeee for Black Friday.. I’m buying it right now ! 🤗
@@domainmusicandgaming OMG i was looking what I should buy!! Please help me what should I do.??
Tomorrow is black Friday pls response
This was super helpful thanks - love how you guys explain things in simple terms for non-camera experts
I’m going with the m50 because of the interchangeable lenses.
Agree
I always ended up going back to the kit lens and the other 2 lenses I had were hardly used, ZV-1 seems to do everything the M50 user(me) wanted the M50 to do - I'm not a beginner but I am certain the ZV-1 is an upgrade on M50
Can the m50 be used as a Webcam if it has a limit recording 30 minutes?
@@derekroberts5931 Yes, it can. When being used as a webcam, there is no limit. Amazon even has an M50 webcam kit.
@@travelingsober Oh ok, I didn't know if my Samsung s10, which I can trade in for the newest, was better than M20 for video. Not really into pictures.
AMAZING video! You literally answered all my questions and were straight to the point. I'll be getting most likely the Sony zv-1! Thank you thank you thank you!
Still making use of my phone while looking for a good camera for starting my vlogs. I'm still torn between the two
SAME DID YOU GET A CAMERA YET?
nope
@@mysideoflife quit being cheap 🤡
Hello sir... im going to choose CANON EOS M50, because its beautiful and you can change the lense into difference function or situations.
THANKYOU for good explanations.
Canon M50 4K CROP factor is the biggest drawback. I’ve compared the two cameras live and while the Sony is more expensive, it doesn’t crop 4K.
Thanks!
This channel is awesome. You inspired me to start a tutorial channel.
You are the man.
Thanks for the motivation.
I got Sony ZV1 and loving it! The only thing I would add is a gimbal and right now I am looking into buying a Crane M3. Great review as always! Bravo!
Thanks man!
I thought you couldn’t do anything with the lens, i truly no nothing about cameras tho, this is my first
How does the battery last in your experience? At least 30-60min? On ZV1
Great job, team!! Thank you
The camera they are using to film right now is always the best.
@@trebronlibrand true that
@@trebronlibrand I was trying to decide which of the two I wanted to get, without spending too much money. So I might go with the Sony .
@@antlearn5030 If your purpose is for vlogging, then go for Sony but if you're interested in still pictures, go for canon...
Yes I have the Canon M50 It is a every good camera I am still testing it out I have not use it to upload any videos to RUclips as yet I am still using my phone but I love if it's pretty light once you get to know the Canon M50 it's a pretty good vlogging camera I love it
The thing I dont like about the Sony is the retractable lens. Yes it makes the camera more compact but its just something to break.
I have the M50. Newly purchased and I love it!
I’m really hoping my hubby gets me the Sony for Christmas! I would really love to have it for my channel. Thanks for all the wonderful information on both these cameras. You gained a new sub.
I ended up getting the m50 last week thanks to your advice! I upgraded from iPhone!
But I’m still editing through my phone 😂
I’m loving it so far ❤️
Not a camera geek so the zv1 sounds like the much better one for me for simplicity. Also like the 4k advantages it has.
The perfect time to start youtube is today. The perfect camera will just follow. So don't waste time waiting. Go get your smartphone and start recording.😉👍
ZV-1 is the best camera I’ve ever used for vlogging. Love it.
(and also invest some money in descent audio because thats really important to) 🤩👍
Another solid option is the Canon SL3. I've really enjoyed using it.
Agree. Great camera!
WHICH one's better though M50 or SL3?
I have watched a couple of comparisons but I see M50 everywhere
It would be my first camera so what would you recommend?
Loved the comparison as you had both the iPhone and ZV-1 going at the same time and flipping back and forth. Really helps for the direct comparison.
I just bought the Sony ZV-1 with a vlogging kit. I love it
Do you have overheating issues? The mine turns off after 20 minutes of recording... I am disgusted
Hands down the best video I have come across explaining the differences between the 2 cameras. Thanks!

I have been trying to see what alternatives I can get for the ZV1 and I thought the M50 would be a good camera but when you showed how the autofocus doesn't work when shooting 4k I just couldn't let go. With each review I see comparing the ZV1 to other cameras the ZV1 always wins
It's just really great for the beginner! If you are looking for interchangeable lenses check out this one = ruclips.net/video/sD2sKvVspdE/видео.html
I’ve been contemplating for a while and after this video I think the Sony zv-1 is what I’ll invest in. Great video and helpful tips !
I'm with you. The Sony seems much better
the thing I like about the rx is that you can charge it with any battery bank with usb port vs m50 you'll need a 6v+ battery bank plus a dummy battery.
Sony ZV-1. Hands down. LOVED every minute of it , since I got it.
Us too! Love the ZV1!
Hi which one you recommend for travel vlogging M50 or ZV 1?
The ZV-1 is definitely the winner here; I would REALLY love to see a comparison between the ZV-1 vs the Panasonic G85. I’m considering that one right now and want to make sure I pick the best option available (especially since most of my content is filmed outdoors).
Which do you recommend bro sony zv1 or m50 or canon 200 d mark ii?
Usage
1. Family photos for trips
2. youtube product review
3. Vlogging
@@dhdclub That is true but that means I have to buy a new tripod, etc but I do understand what you are saying.
I have a video coming up on how to get around this
@@DocBoA great! I can't wait!
I just used a sharp knife to cut a small notch in the mount . it works.
The expensive sigma isn’t the only way to get blur background, native 22m does it, cheap 50mm + adapter does great job.
Re: the M50 and having to hide your face when doing a product review... wouldn't Single Point AF mode work great for this? Other videos show that mode is awesome for product reviews. Thanks, Omar!
Ive been using a Galaxy 7 for videos. Ive been looking for a decent camera but so many options. Thanks for this info. Helps out a lot in my search. 👍
I’ve just recorded my first video on my newly purchased M50 and currently editing it. I got it price matched and paid £499 with the 15-45mm lens. Bargain in my eyes!

Hey can do Cannon g7x mark ii vs Sony ZV 1??
Another con of the ZV-1 is that you can not put a filter on the lens. I shoot cars and a polarizer is very helpful.

I'm thinking about getting the ZV-1. Thanks for this!
great info, thankyou, I have the m50 and I only got it a couple of months ago, very happy with it for now:)
Seems like the SONY is the winner, unless you are into serious VLOGGING, for every other use case scenario, I’d go with the SONY 💯 the extra dollars of the SONY seem worth it for the extra quality it brings.
Music & Leadership I just bought it
Wow as a new youtuber this video was perfect to help me decide on which camera I should get.
🔥🔥🔥
I watched your review and from reading your comment here might I suggest the 18mm Wide Angle lens for the ZV-1
amzn.to/38n0RFG It's definitely worth checking out.
@@JCRubio I'll check it out. My only worry on these is the weight on the lens motor with this tiny camera. But like the idea of an external nd filter.
