Just to let you know, those engines run a CAV injection pump and they are notorious for the main pump shaft seals leaking diesel into the crankcase of the engine where it bolts on.
So you can buy a pump rebuild kit cheap and either overhaul it or just replace the main seal.
Otherwise your engine oil will continually be diluted with diesel. 👍🤙😁🇦🇺

We purchased one of these in 1979. It had 4900 hours on it. We proceeded to use it much like a forklift at a sawmill for many years as well as on our land as we turned a full section of timbered land into productive fields. By the time the hour meter quit it had over 11000 hours on it. That was in 1992. It still runs to this day for snow plowing in the winter and packing firewood and general acreage work during the summer. It has never had anything done to the engine other than have the starter replaced. I have to believe it is pushing close to 15 or 16 thousand hours on it. We replaced a broken gear on the left side. I think it was like a planetary ring gear but I can't be sure as I was 14 years old at the time and I am now 52. Other than a certain person running it for several years without greasing a thing causing one of the front wheels to fall off, it's never broken down. The sound of the tractor starting in this video is so evocative and reminds me so clearly of running that tractor though my childhood and teen years. Amazing machine. Thanks for posting such a nostalgia-inducing video for me!!!

Im sure that there is an ag tractor that yours is based off of. BTW if you have to let it sit outside, do it with the bucket lift cylinders retracted you don’t want the chrome to rust.
