Brilliant tutorial! Still valid in December 2023 and update 4.37.3.
Can't wait for all this being available for DCS F-16C
And here it is: ruclips.net/video/I95AQP9P9zU/видео.html
Thanks, it was very helpful. there are not many tutorials about 4.34. Keep posting
I do a lot of DCS F-16... BMS makes me feel like I know nothing. It's high time I try it!
Great video instruction. Thanks. 171
Great video, Chaz! Very well done!
Thanks for the tutorial
That the video i was looking for
Made that look easy thanks will have to try this...
your graphics look amazing so clear and sharp..
Graphics are max settings. Resolution 2560×1440. I use a cockpit mod obtained from the BMS forums. Other than that, stock files.
Thanks!
Thanks, good video.
thanks for this was just wondering how to do this
can you release 4 bombs simultaneously, for example:
Bomb 1 - Stpt 26
Bomb 2 - Stpt 27
Bomb 3 - Stpt 28
Bomb 4 - Stpt 29
In the video u release one and change the stpt, but can you assign each stpt to each bomb and release all 4 of them at the same time?
No, unfortunately you cannot release all 4 JDAMs simultaneously. It can only be done in the manner depicted in the video.
Hi great video. Is it applicaple for bms 4.33u1 thanks
Yes this should work for 4.33. But I'd recommend upgrading to the latest version of BMS to enjoy all of the new features.
Thanks
Outstanding lecture... but those are pre programmed GPS bombs, can you do it with 4 laser guided bombs on a relatively closely grouped moving convoy? So one pass haulass, 4 x GBU-12.
Unless you like to watch 3D image flyovers, tripple buffering is not ideal for gaming. In Falcon BMS the option is presented... only so you can turn it off.
Unfortunately not because the laser can only paint target at a time.
When we launch 2 💣 together we know that the “space impact” is the distance between 2 JSOW 💣 considering the SPI at the center right?
But these 💣 do not fall whole to the ground (such as JDAM), but open in the air in clusters. Therefore the “space impact” is calculated from the center of 1st 💣💣💣 💣 to the center of 2nd or simply the distance between 2 JSOW 💣 in the air?
I hope it is clear I,m 🇮🇹🙏👍
Easy to understand tutorial, thank you. What cockpit mod are you using in this video?
Also another question, can you feed the target steerpoints you choose in the briefing to the mark page?
The cockpit mod is some sort of clean cockpit mod I got off the Falcon BMS forum. Can't find the link.
As far as I know, you can't feed target steerpoints to the mark page. Mark Points are created on the fly. Separate database.
What is the zoom function? That's the only thing I can't figure out
Zoom function for the targeting pod is done with MAN RNG (manual range) Knob.
For narrow and wide field of view, you use the Expand/FOV button.
@@chazflyz thanks for the help!
Thanks for this it explains things very well. However, When I do it, the stpts aren’t created in numerical order. Any ideas? Thanks
Steer points 26-30 are designated for Mark Points. What numbers are you seeing?
@@chazflyz I've just figured it out. I had trhe keypresses mapped in Antimicro so was getting double presses. All good now.
Hibis this video applicaple for bms 4.33u1? Thanks
Yes it should work in 4.33. But I'd recommend going to the latest version 4.35. Lots of great features.
@@chazflyz i will when i get a newer PC so i can enjoy the graphics as well :). Thanks for the response.. I havent been able to assign targets using markpoints.. I was doing everything the way you said except for cursor zero and it was failing.. Now i know why
Is this mod working on steam version?
Yes. BMS just looks for a valid Falcon 4.0 copy during installation. BMS is a separate install in itself.
Thnx....
