Alexander Albon Onboard | F1 Buriram/Chang International Circuit | 2020 Thai Grand Prix

- Here's another F1 onboard lap, this time going around the Buriram/Chang circuit in Thailand with Alexander Albon in his F1 2020 Red Bull challenger.
This is the only FIA Grade 1 circuit in Thailand, and I believe that it would host a fantastic race here. The layout of the track is very fun to drive with its high speed turns, and provides many overtaking opportunities throughout the whole track, and even has 2 DRS zones.
If Alex Albon starts getting more successful at Red Bull, maybe we could see this circuit potentially join the F1 race calendar at some point down the road.

This circuit is in the northeast region of Thailand which is far from Bangkok. There's also a football stadium nearby the circuit area which is one of the main attractions of Buriram province.
Yeah, let’s get all the MotoGP tracks in there that Nekrews didn’t do.
This would work perfectly in f1! An Asian triple header with Sazuka, Sepang and this could be the best 3 weeks of the f1 season by far!
Suzuka
Singapore
China
@@mikeoxmaul_2121 India Vietnam Malaysia
@@mikeoxmaul_2121 you don't want Sepang? 🤔
Suzuka Indonesia Sepang Thailand would be awesome
My homeland indonesia currently is building a moto gp circuit which planned to be for F1 too
@@jwork5680 mandalika hanya untuk Motogp tidak sesuai untuk F1
This is a very nice slick circuit in one of the most beautiful country's in the world it's a shame formula 1 doesn't come to Thailand maybe one day 🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭
The owner of the stadium choose not to held it because it cost a lot of money and it would not be worth it since F1 fanbase in Thailand are a lot smaller compared to MotoGP which have a lot of fans in Thailand and also cost less to held it
a temprature like miami a houses like brazil and astonishing cars like tokyo thats what thailand is.
@@kimhash967 this is true, I wish there’ll be more F1 fans here so it won’t cost too much to watch the race irl
Wish F1 came to Buriram, could go to the circuit on my bicycle.
very much appreciate all these videos of the existing Grade 1 licensed circuits with F1 cars. do you think you could cover Ricardo Tormo/Jerez/any of the existing Grade 1 Spanish circuits excluding Catalunya ? Cheers dude 🙂
Yes sir! I actually already made one for Jerez with Alonso in the 2022 car! I will look into the others as well
We can always see last corner drama in motorcycle racing, I wonder if F1 will do the same
Yea, Fabio and Marquez
Amazing circuit !!!!
สนามสวยมากครับ จ.บุรีรัมย์
i love this track on motogp 20 😳❤️
I believe that, with Suzuka dropping off the calendar, it wouldn't be fully unreasonable to see a F1 race here. Also Alex Albon still linked to Red Bull and AlphaTauri, so there might be some chances.
I thought that circuit deserve to become the 4th round in 2021
Probably some will get cancelled why not race here it's a grade 1
This would be Alex's home race
It’s actually Alex’s “home” race. Alex’s real home is still england. He raised there
You need to understand Alex is barely Thai. He was born in the UK. But then what's the reason why he is claiming himslef 'Thai whatever'. Bcus there is no decent racing enviroments and drivers in and from Thailand. Meanwhile in the UK, there's tons of skillful drivers. It's just harder to compete under the name of UK nationality. So he picked Thai flag ofc and marketed himself as a Thai racing driver. Just because his mom came from Thailand doesn't mean he is Thai. I'm hella nauseous whenever he claiming himself Thai
@@somchailim6914 That is true, he got a lot of supports from Thai government. Red Bull’s majority also owned by Thai Company. Austrian company only has 49% of its share.
@@somchailim6914 that's dumb, he is still Thai. That's like saying Max Verstappen isn't Dutch. Just because he was born in Belgium he has a Dutch dad so he is Dutch.
@@TJ-rn6ux I know this is a 2 year old comment but I find your comparison to be totally invalid. From an ethnicity, cultural, and language point of view, there's no difference between Belgian and Dutch, half of Belgium would probably even admit as such.
Thailand and the UK are totally different worlds. He cannot claim to be Thai if he didn't grow up in Thailand or had any cultural identities that is common within in Thailand. I grew up in Thailand, have Thai nationality, speak the language at a native level, I am infinitely more "Thai" than Albon but I wouldn't consider myself Thai at all because I do not follow the same culture nor do I see myself as one.
Albon doesn't even speak Thai. Max speaks Dutch. Before claiming to be Thai you should at least speak the language.
F1 is perfect for the Thailand Grand Prix replacing Brazil
love it
amazing circuit but not as good as brazil
This is better than Sochi and Abu dhabi honestly for F1
Sochi is at War in Ukraine
Do the Mandalika Circuit
When thailand host F1 race just don’t come in summer. Everyone will burn
Turn 1 and turn 8 are amazing corners to carry speed through
All tho this circuit was designed by Tilke
I think it would be a great circuit for F1
My lap was a 1:11.287
(Edit!) recently went on the track with sim dreams Mercedes W11 and managed a 1:10.880!!
Tilke is not a bad track designer.
Thai GP would be awesome, and would certainly be a great replacement for the Malaysia GP
Why replace Malaysia? Add more Race!
Did Tilke design this track?
Haha yes he did!
#ThaiGP in #MotoGP and #F1
Certainly wouldn’t object to it joining the calendar, it’s got good speed, good flow - and would test the car and driver
I suggest you to make Navarra Circuit
Can you an onboard of the Le Mans circuit?
Will do!
Monaco historic old
Moscow raceway one please.
Which game is that?

He want to represent for Thailand because Thai have so much support on him You can look when he drove for f2 all the sponsors is from Thailand.
Because if u the "first "thai driver then he can get more sponser that never came to the sport and Redbull is thai brand too
@@centurionmk.1365 Alex albon is the second thai driver in F1, not the first
