  • I've owned a Warco WM300/2 lathe for over 18 years and today was the time to upgrade to a digital speed display like some of the more modern lathes have and try to move into the 21st Century!
In the video I explain how I have fitted it with the usual details. You'll see me dismantling a plug top PSU to power the tacho. **SEE BELOW**
**PLEASE BE AWARE I AM WORKING WITH LEATHAL VOLTAGES WHICH WILL KILL. I AM A TRAINED ENGINEER SO KNOW WHAT I AM DOING. IF YOU WISH TO DO THE SAME PLEASE ENSURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING OR GET A QUALIFIED PERSON TO HELP. MAINS VOLTAGES CAN AND WILL KILL**
All went well and I show the tacho is giving an accurate readout.

Hi Qwerty1235945, your comment is much appreciated. I have a couple more upgrades in the pipeline for the Warco so keep "tuned". Thanks for watching 👍🏽

Hi, I have the gears already fitted inside the door and another box of imperial sized ones but have to say I've never used them so unfortunately cannot tell you if I'll have problems as I've never swapped or fitted them.
