Are there any additional issues regarding weight bearing that must be considered even after full healing? With osseointegration, can you do very heavy loading that can be caused by weight lifting, jumping, kicking a punching bag or soccer ball, etc?

Does this work if you lost the 2 legs?
I lost my 2 legs on the same level (height) and i would like to do this because i have a lot of problems because of my prosthetic legs. (Pain, blisters...)

25 years of real tech has been hidden from us.
There are quantum med beds that can completely grow back limbs using phantom memory.

Heya bro, hope you are doing well, Hope that in the year this comment has been up that things have been getting better for you. (hopefully a year was enough time where you live to get things on track, to this/similar possibilities)
I'm in the UK, and I've been waiting for this type of operation (a titanium bar is bolted to the tibia, and that bar just passes through with holes/notches to hold whatever prosthesis you want, as you can always add the right 'clasp?' to it.
Its been 5 years and now I've been told, because I still have my feet, (even though I can't use them) that I need a full psych Eval over 6 months and a checkup 6 months after that, to "prevent people on mental health medication, from using that fact, that the side effects that make this a black box medication(have a look for what that means if you aren't in the UK, I'm not sure if you have it, if you don't. It'll probably make you laugh) old also have caused this "involuntary behaviour", and now they want their 'hand?' back.
I broke my back, both legs and ankles 15 years ago now. I had to leave uni, they didn't have disabled access almost at all. And since then I've been stuck being able to weight bare from 5 to 15 minutes over that time, while taking 20opiates 8NSAID's 4muscles relaxers 6gaba pentinoids. For that same time period. As you can imagine, it's been impossible to do anything resembling work since. I feel like I'm sick in the middle, I still have my feet, and that's kinda nice, cos they were spread across the concrete last I remember, but they don't do what feet are supposed to do, and I'm just in emotionless agony.
The pain killers don't stop the pain they just make it mean nothing in the brain, but if I miss a morning dose, I'm screwed for the next 2 days.
I want to get rid of the source of the pain, but also, there's a chance it's in my spine.
How would you think, if you could put yourself in my useless socks.
I took so much work in my physio to get out of the wheel chair and weight bare, same with taking a few steps.
Anyway, sorry, I had compound fractures i'ch in both tibia, but I also broke both femurs. Would they need to go from the highest break? I'm sorry if you have no idea about these answers, I was just hoping that someone who needs them is going to be more likely to have gotten further in a year than someone with a passing interest due to engineering and the like. If you haven't heard anything then I'm very sorry, 1 for wasting your time but more because I truly want you out of the pain of socket secured prostheses.
I hope things go well no matter what. Take care

I am a little unclear how this heals completely? does tissue grow around the insert to seal the wound/entry point from the environment? Is there pain from the site where they drilled the hole? Have you had problems with complications?
I am assuming it's coated with a porous material to fascilitate healing within the bone, is that right?
