My 27 will be in my grimy hands next week baby! You should continue this line of videos you are a very well spoken storyteller and have lots of cool things to share and i for one will enjoy it, 2K congrats 🍾
As a Trangia 25, 27, mini & Triangle owner, I have to say the 27 is my favourite.... all the flexibility & benefits of the 25, but that little bit lighter and more portable. DEFINITELY worth adding one to your kit 👍
As a young boy/man, I was heavily involved with scouting. We weren’t allowed to use freeze dried food, and had to pack and carry regular food off the store shelves. I think this is why I enjoy your channel so much. It shows people the wide variety of good food you can have on the trail without resorting to freeze dried yuckiness. Please keep doing what you are doing and educating the world about what can be done with a simple backpacking cooking system and a willingness to explore the boundaries of what can be done in the wilderness!
I agree with you about the meths burner by the way, I like the quietness of it. I've got the gas burner too, and it cooks so quickly, but isn't as peaceful to use. And like you, I know how much fuel I have left with the alcohol burner but am a bit clueless with the gas!
I'm also with you on the noisy, disruptive nature users. They should stay in the city if they want to make mess & noise. As for Cairns (the stone piles) they used to be for navigation years ago but are now a TikTok / Instagram fad that disrupts the views & harms nature by moving insects habitats
👍👍👍 Congratulations on the 2000 subscribers and may there be many, many more to come 😊. A good Q&A Session .. well worth a watch. Thanks for sharing .. never a waste of time and until next time, take care ..
Well done on reaching 2k subscribers 👏. As a cycle tourer we have a lot in common. Being in nature and the love of trangia when it comes to cooking our meals. Maybe a tip for you. In the morning I make my coffee for the rest of the day. I use an insulated nalgine bottle and the gsi h2jo. Check it out it works well for me. And finally as a reward to yourself for the success your channel is having. Just splash out and get yourself the 27 you will never regret it. Thank you for all your videos so far😊
Many, many congratulations on your sub count...VERY well deserved but not surprising as your videos pass on so much information and knowledge. We too love Trangia stoves, but we personally use the Trangia Triangle as we each carry our own food and cooking system and the triangle is what we find easiest to to fir into our Bergens. We use a modified triangle system which was evolved by my late partner Emma which increases it's efficiency by about 20%. )One day we may make a video to show the modifications. Can understand your love of the 25 (which we use occasionally and the 27 also. The 28T is another favourite, but not as efficient. Take care and thank you for sharing your channel milestone. Stay well, stay safe, Helen with Kat and Terri with Robyn.
I had no idea that Emma had passed away, that is sad tidings indeed. I'm so sorry for your loss Helen. I hope you're doing okay. Wishing you all the best, Red.
@@RedswedeOutdoorsThank you so much Red. Sadly life sometimes gets in the way of our plans. Thank you we are all making progress Emma stays in our memories as do other former team members. Take care and Carpe Diem. Helen with Kat and Terri with Robyn.
@@Helen-and-Katarin-Juska-law Good that you are coping. By the way I'm curious to see your system when you post it, if it's similar to my own mods or bring other solutions to consider. Take care y'all!
Thank you for answering my question on gas v sprit. For me I started like most people on sprit only, found gas and stayed with that for years. More recently I have returned to the faithful old sprit burner as I no longer live of ready made dehydrated meals, whilst outdoors. I now enjoy cooking whilst outdoors and the slow pace that burning alcohol brings is also welcome, no rush to get the food done, but making it part of the whole experience.
I am happy with you for reaching such an important milestone as if it were my channel too :-)) Congrats and keep up the good work! Your modest, humble channel acts many times as some sort of a refuge for me from those many high tech, shot frome a drone videos. It acts like a forest, as you have mentioned here in your video, keeps shelter and more important, always, but always brings along a good idea, an interesting recipe, a lovely gear spiced with your calmness. When I watch you I really feel like you are standing in front of me and talking to me, not to your sponsors. Once again congratulations!
Greetings from sunny Malaysia🇲🇾. Great Q & A session and a big thanks for using the question I sent in👍Here's to the next milestone of 5K subs and beyond .ATVB
Actually I did not question if the immigration/assimilation had somewhat failed in Sweden. My question which you might have not noticed, because it was left hidden to shorten initial views. Is this: What is you opinion on military conscription conscription/civil service for say 18 -20 year old men as compulsory, and could it help the current and future situation with immigrants assimilating into country and accepting swedish values, like camping etc. I do hope you read the whole original community post. And reply it in your future video. I am a little offended by your reply and negligence to read my true question.
Thank you for clarifying, Jarmo. I can see your reasoning in the matter but I think that 18-20 is much too late to acchieve that goal. At that age you're enhancing the traits that already make up ones personality, and very few of the caracteristics will change. It's possible that a side of you that has been dormant due to lack of stimulation can emerge with the right circumstances e.g. a sense of purpose. For a major change that late in life and beyond you need some kind of life crisis, traumatic experience or a revelation like becoming religious. There are other things that speaks for conscription or civil service I just don't think that assimilation is among them. Cheers!
@@RedswedeOutdoors Well, do you think if people live in suburbs with mostly only say muslim immigrants, go to school with many other immigrant origin children, they will somehow integrate very much to swedish society. Army service would be the first. And you say it is too late. Perhaps it is and the mistake was made in housing policies. Think about that. Anyways did you left my question in the video knowingly unanswered?

Thanks for sharing. Just saying, if they release a saute pan for the T 27 they can shut up and take my money. Cheers!
The non stick T27 frying pan does a pretty good job when you want to sauté!! Go spend that cash!!! 😉
Just realised that there is a deeper sauté pan for the 25.... I guess that would fit over the 27 set at least

Well done on the 2000 subscribers.
Go on, get a trangia 27! I've had mine for about 25 years and it's served me well.
