    When I was a kids my friends mom made this and I had no idea what it was till now. Oddly I crave it when I am pregnant that a a green sticky dish made with okra and some meat. Googing to look it up and make it for my kids

    I am from Zimbabwe and we call it Sadza/Nsima. We mainly use corn flour a d the consistency is similar and you pair that with any kind d of stew you want. It hits the spot. Thanks for sharing and I will try the Sudanese version soon.

    In Angola we mix the semolina with cassava flour.

    Hmmm asida with semolina, that's very interesting🤩 I must try!!!
    Would it work if I just use a whisk cause I ain't got a mufraka ???

      Almost all Africans cook it , but it has different name , such as assida ugali fufu sadza etc
