Quick q maybe either can help. I have the decon towel and used the iron remover technique on my car. Worked superb. my mum's paint is rough, but I applied Sonax BSD before I got the Decon towel. By using the Decon towel, will I rip off the lsp?

@@pigeonpoo1823 Hey Pigeon nice to see you again, not a problem at all, the decon towel might hurt your sealant a little bit probably not a ton since it's non abrasive but regardless I'd top it up afterwards since you're already there drying the car and so on. If you had something slicker than BSD you could actually clay and seal at the same time by using the LSP as lube. Hope that helps.

Hey man thanks for watching! Yeah he's got quite a license plate :).
To remove the yellow / red dot on tire I use Carpro TarX after a deep tire clean. Let it dwell few minutes, brush it and it's gone! Great video, I like the fact you test a drill brush to clean the tires and see how effective it is.

I think I will do the drill brush on the wife's tires as she has stock wheels. I will keep using regular tire brush for my black wheels on my car though, can't be too safe, lol. Thanks for the tip about the bucket placement, never really thought about that. Been a big fan of the Labocosmetica Primus 2.0 and Purifica for pre-washes for clogged ceramics.

My man I’m no pro but from what I gathered we should do the least harshest methods before moving on to the more harder things with that being said WSR should be first moving forward and then iron and clay after if that makes any sense. Nonetheless fantastic job and pops is one lucky father 👌🏼
Thank you brother. Thanks for the tip. There's different school of thought on the process. In the DIY system WSR is last. The decon towel is not harsh by any means, it doesn't mare the paint and has no abrasive. Although I guess any order works.
Good watch! I have TAC Moonlight, too, but it came with a spray nozzle. I use it on our motorcycles. Also I love that Flex polisher!

Next time, try Carpro Descale as a pre/decon wash. Works wonder to bring back the coating’s hydrophobicity

weird how fast the bird poop etched into the paint... shouldn't the ceramic coating provide some protection against it? Even without a ceramic coating, it usually doesn't etch that fast right?
Yeah I find it weird too. In the summer, I get like 3/4 bird poops every week on my car. No etching at all.
it depends, but it doesnt take long to stain if baking in the sun, even with a coating we need to remove ASAP. My dad knows better, he'd remove bird drops and not let it on for days. Thanks for watching Willee!

Unfortunately, as a Mazda 3 owner and as a detailer, I agree: Mazda paint is a shit! As thin as a sheet of paper (measured 60 micron on my M3. not possible to correct stone chips, not possible to sand the clearcoat...). Same happened to me with a bird poo on the back even if I constantly take care and inspect the vehicle, clearcoat burned and had to polish.... I m happy to have applied Gyeon Mohs Evo a couple of months ago!
Anyway, my friend, as someone else suggested, try as soon as possible Labocosmetica Purifica acidic shampoo and eventually Energo as water spot removal. Excellent products. You can foam and use in the bucket and eventually join to alcaline foam prewash Primus in the 2ph cycle: Primus in foam-rinse off-Purifica in foam-Purifica in the bucket-rinse off.
Hey Dom! Nice talking to you again, MOHS EVO is a favorite of mine too! Mazda and subaru are really thin its unbelievable so sad. I might have the Labo stuff at some point we'll see, i know they have interesting stuff.
