What about fleas? We keep finding one or two fleas in our doodles for about 2 months now. We’ve tried bathing them w flea shampoos , Haven’t done medicine because we only see 1 or 2 , sometimes we go weeks without seeing anything. (I’m not against giving them Medicine, if I have to, or should) Thanks :).
If there’s not many fleas on the dogs then it could be that they’ve living in the garden or the house and they’re picking them up every now and then, in which case you can try and treat those areas instead of the dogs, i.e. with a flea bomb/spray/washing all bedding etc. If that doesn’t work then you can then try the medicine if you do want to get rid of them completely. If it’s only one or two fleas though I would probably just bath them with a flea shampoo weekly/bi weekly and use a flea comb daily. This may be enough to get rid! The fleas have been particularly bad this year!
