I super recommend journey to the microcosmos for some amazing content on cyanobacteria! You don't have to watch from the beginning, but that's what I recommend to new viewers!
Well done! Renewed interest on this simple-looking-but-longer-history-than-ours creature. Observing their behavior/ locomotor mechanism like reproduced here is a rare chance. Biomechanically, galop appears impossible for them. Actually inspiring.
How about a Deep Look at ticks? Apart from mosquitoes they're among the most feared/dangerous *common* insects in everyday erh parks and recreation life
I honestly didn’t know that starfish moved, I didn’t even know they ate,, I thought they were cute rocks called starfish. I love how much this channel teaches me🥰🥰 thank you

fun fact: when starfish eat they regurgitate their stomach, release enzymes that break down the food then absorb the broken down food then live happily ever after
Fun fact, some star fish are actually considered pests in parts of the ocean. I had a biology Lecturer who did her PHD on how to get rid of them without harming other sea creatures.
I love the videos of this channel😍They are really fun and interesting to watch... This channel is indeed underrated... Also a request to you guys.. Can u all please make the videos longer? And can u make videos about Space? That would be great. Thank you.
Considering that this is a biology channel centered on macro photography, I'd think not. We've observed only one biosphere, after all. Try SciShow Space, perhaps.
Good ol' KQED. Informed my youth growing up in the sixties. And still going strong. Thanks for your continuing concern with reality. cheers from rainy Vienna, Scott

I was just reading about phylum mollusca and echinodermata,, was so curious about locomotion by tube feet,, now i know this. world of ocean is so vast, unexplored and fascinating, it leaves me with a sense of awe, these cute little animals are gift of mother nature, we should do everything to protect them from pollution and commerical hunting for useless, materialistic things. such an amazing channel🙏❤️
This channel is incredibly underrated.

i strongly agree with this comment

The biggest groups of animals - molluscs and arthropods (about 80-90% of animal species), they don't have complex brains.
So you're telling me is Patrick made a big deal out of having no nose, when he had them on his feet the whole time?!!
indeed!
Woah?
@CharlieMHz 😂😂😂infeet
its more like his back to us tho
Is this why Patrick covers his body with the food he eats?
this learning content is so good my teacher even used it in class
Excellent!
Cool
To be honest teachers'll use any video in class
Lucky. I only get boring cringy ppts and docs in my class

The “star” part in their name is a reference to a famous marine biologist and his special power.

The more I learn about the biology of all kinds of animals, especially those in the ocean, the more I realize how utterly bizzare life actually is.
The creator of Spongebob really did make a scientific representation of Patrick, being brainless.
