- Law enforcement officials from the FBI, Secret Service and Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office say a suspect is in custody after being spotted with an assault rifle near where former President Trump was golfing. Secret Service agents fired shots at the man before he fled the scene.

Not conspiracy. Just again, showing lapse in security. It's failings by a service that time and again wear sunglasses and look intimidating, but are slow to react. The particulars are still up in the air as it stands, there's thousands of factors at play. But security is to negate or limit those factors as best possible. There's a failure somewhere. The shooter knew where to intrude. That's 1. Where to secrete and shoot 2. and egress with least obstacle that's 3. That's a security failure on 3 counts. 3 points you can anticipate. Especially after a prior attempt, where those 3 points were overlooked despite acknowledging them. Trump is a known Golfer. The site would be scrutinised 100 fold prior. It's essentially a "snipers dream." Of open areas shrouded by lush vegitation on all sides. Even if it was a "stunt" it just shows up security. I'm not going down rabbit holes. But in an age where Police Drones circle every day and social media' s under a watchful scrutiny by AI's. This is a failure again born of either - incompetency, funding, or apathy. - there's a UK youtuber who infiltrated a security conference, despite not having an invite, pass or anything else. He's just a man, making online content. Imagine if he was an assassin? You'd have access to all the tactics. Technology. Apps. That guy was just "pushing the boundary" as it were, but it's shown its easy to subvert security. Now we have assassinations of a Presidential Candidate as easy as owning a gun. The UK Nuked New York in a training exercise. You know that? Whilst the US defence made all their moves. A Vulcan Bomber pinged New York. "yep that's flattened." We joked about it as nations but if it was real? Millions died in a flash. Right there. Lucky we are Allies. There's a massive gap in security. As we move forward in the divided internet age. It's getting worse. It's been a thing since Pearl Harbour. Security failing. China put balloons over the mainland US. Shot down after Canada warned. Drones are bloody everywhere and hard to detect, but a balloon? Slow. Slow reaction. The "greatest military might on Earth" missed spy balloon tech from 80 years ago. Security is often overlooked by hubris. Radar doesn't ping low flying objects that appear as birds and security doesn't look at the UPS guy walking taking notes. Security has to take this in to account.

One Secret Service agent saw the muzzle of a gun poking through the bushes at the edge of the course. That agent fired several shots, scaring the would be shooter away. Someone got a picture of the car and the guy was caught within a few hours.
Sounds like a mentally disturbed person. When the war in Ukraine started, he went over there, "knowing" he could end it.
He was a Trump supporter but was upset that during the debate, Trump wouldn't commit to helping Ukraine with the war, and instead supported Putin. He likely felt betrayed.
