This is super helpful. I am a Miele salesman and I am going to my customer’s house tomorrow to help her do the TwinDos cleaning. She’s frustrated the manual is so complicated to understand.
Was struggling with the TwinDos maintenance as we are filling an empty UltraPhase container with a funnel. It says there’s an insufficient amount but turns out we were over filling it. Put about an inch of warm water in the container (When laid horizontally) and it finally started working. Another tip - Try pressing in the side of the bottle after starting the cycle to help push the water into the machine.
Just wondering why you pour such a small amount into the refillable water container (the method I think most people use). Thanks for the video - great help.
I red it that you have complete damage with twindos? what happened? i have a problem with ultraphase 2 because its leaking a little bit. when i pull it out the cartridge is all around wet from the detergent and bottom of the twindos also. At first i tought it is problem with the cartridge maybe broken or something and i changed it with the new one and i have the same problem.
Argh! Great video but I get stuck at ''close the door and press start/stop'' always then tells me that there is insufficient detergent - I have tried with a full container of water, with at the level water, with water way below the level and with water either side of the level marker!
Will not work keeps saying insufficient detergent repeat process Did this several times still not working tried a brand new Miele cleaning container PLEASE HELP
Thanks for the vid. I am wondering what was happening in the middle -- after you put the cleaner in. What does the machine do? Pump the stuff around the tubes? You did a separate rinse after the cleaning? Does your manual recommend this?
@@carstenhansen5757 There is also Bosch with i-dos. However washing powder is the best for your machine. Liquid leave a fat layer. And for softener 30-40ml white vinegar is better than commercial products.

как вы решили свою проблему?
Thanks 💪 😊
Where is the twin dos button?
Excellent movie. Just what I needed. Thank! Manual instruction is far too unclear to proceed.

Thanks to point out of the dash on the container. That was the error I made.
Would you say these are the best machines around?
Nope. There is a platinum sensor for the twindos system. Guess what, these sensor fails every two years and very costly to replace.
@@philips170t When you say costly to replace the sensor how much is it.
@@ianpurcell7266 I was charged approx usd125 for the platinum sensor plus another usd70 for the workmanship. With 1 year warranty.
Mine tells me that there is insufficient detergent to do the cleaning process. Figure that!

Jerrod six I would always do a separate rinse after cleaning because it can remain detergent residues in the tub
So many people are having problems with this system.
And that for a machine that cost twice the amount of a machine without Twin Dos.
I thought maintenance involved a hot wash. By doing what you did I am not sure if this is hygienic for the machine.
This is not maintenance for machine this was for the TwinDos
LaundryKid 2006 Ok then. Thanks for letting me know.
Is it worth the extra money? I mean, is it actually built better/less repairs etc.?
I recommend it to you without TwinDos because my machine had a complete damage
@@laundry_by_marcel - Damn ok. I really liked the TwinDos. Not having to think about detergents ec.

@@ga12f12o - Yeah, I know about the I-dos. The only thing is, I want it as a washer/dryer, and they do not offer it with I-dos as such.
@@laundry_by_marcel Really? what kind of problem was with twindos? i have the same machine as you...
