I used to sing in the tenor and baritone sections in choir because I could hit lower notes than the altos and not all their higher notes. I’m a contralto.
I love how so many people have never heard of a countertenor and are in shock. He has a beautiful and highly trained voice. Wonderful. Bet he is in high demand for Handel concerts.
Damn his range is amazing. Also, perfect pitch. So pure and beautiful. Keep singing, you make so many people happy with your voice. THANK YOU for sharing your gift.
You should totally duet this with a femal alto or contralto doing the low notes softly in the background. Break those gendar biases in a beautiful way!
Holy shit, you scared the living hell out of me! 😰 I was expecting a deep tone just by how you looked...that just gives the quote, "never judge a book by it's cover" a second look and more than a grain of salt.
Hi, phoniatry is not supposed to take any poetry off this, as I'm a singer myself who loves to experiment on various ranges and style of voice productions. This is typically obtained by thinning out the vocal fold muscle to that compression doesn't build up in a way that would force to yell if you can even make it to the note. Folds while fully adducted are not as much pressed against each other like they would be for low notes, where they are soft and lax. It also relieves the tension needed for the note as only a reduced portion vibrates with the body, the fold muscle pretty much out of the way and vibration only traveling along their surface or cover.
@@oblomovhans1659 Also testosterone plays important role. Usually, otherwise healthy, men who loose hair more quickly have much more testosterone and possibility to go really low with their voices. Man singing here has beautiful, dense hair and not receding hairline. We can be assured that that he has less testosterone, hence that clear range.
@@kingofwesteros9868 Hi, extent of hair loss is related to a combination of level of testosterone but mainly how much follicles on top of the head are, compared to the sides, some people are simply blessed by not having susceptible follicles with follicles behaving almost the same way all over theh head, plus his stubble shows he has some consistent beard growth, just with not much excess coverage unless he shaves to define those zones. He's also quite young. It's also the case of Zayn very low hairline but even thicker beard, this one's hairline is even high compared to him, not even that low, but a very good one I agree. Also Antonino Cannavacciuolo, over 40 incredibly thick hair, but also beard, body and bass voice. this is his speaking voice ruclips.net/video/jtz1X4ywymg/видео.html which is seemingly medium dark, then he starts singing. Many low voiced men can sing high and many countertenor have baritonal speaking voice. The point is being able to control a gradual transition to a brighter resonance and thinner folds. @@oblomovhans1659 Hello, thx for your reply :D Indeed technique is above all and I get your point and in entirety support it. But still level of testosterone is important, because it affects how your vocal chords behave.
@@kingofwesteros9868 my dude, no. It has nothing to do with hormones. A countertenor is simply someone who maintains their childhood voice through training. It's not falsetto, it's the voice he had as a child. Every man *can* do this, with the proper training. You can find guides for how to do it online actually. No messing about with hormones, just hard work. But oh man does it pay, there's actually tons of classical music written for this kind of voice because in ye olden days they did mess with hormones the crude old-fashioned way. So you can totally make bank by training your voice this way, and unlike the castrati of old you still have a tenor voice if you need it.
I'm not sure how high you can actually go, but I've always wanted to hear a gender flipped version of The Phantom of the Opera, so if you find a rock chick who has the gravelly voice required... please collab and make this happen!
Wow, your voice is amazing. Would love to hear a duet with Peter Hollens. I just feel like you would sound great. That aside, I love your singing. Especially Misty mountains with with Mia Asano.
I'm so glad you make these, I seem to have the same range and could never find any good people to sing with or practice with, sure practicing bass or tenor is easy but someone who I can sing with with these parts man it's a dream come true, absolutely beautiful singing.
Okay first of all, *amazing* skill, I love this!! And second, as a trans man who always loved to sing, and has sung many a femme vocal's part, I find this incredibly affirming and comforting. Thank you so much for sharing your work!
Whilst I whole heartedly agree with a collab with a female tenor, I would love to see him team up with David Draiman from Disturbed, for those that don’t know him search for Disturbeds cover of Sound of Silence, not sure what song they could sing as a duet but it would be awesome. Both having the ability to add so much emotion in their singing.
“siren noises”
“siren noises intensify”
i love this 😂
It's like Geoff's ,,Low, lower, even lower, subterranean'' :D
Ikr low key reminds of DVD subtitle/CC days 😅💀
If we're pirates and we hear this off in the distance, y'all better grab me.

But I'll be hypnotised, too 😳 his song is so beautiful, there is no hope for us.
Looks like their song works even on land!
I can't, I'll jump overboard too
If I grab u we both dyin🤣 we might as well go scuba diving cs ouuu lord we most def gone drown😂😂😂😂
I have a tenor voice (im fem) and i have the urge to collab this to prove that males can be high and girls can be low
Interesting. Give it a try and certainly why not. The human voice is truly amazing.
Please do!
I'm tenor, too.
Omg same! I'm an alto, but it's still sometimes hard to find songs where they're entirely in my range.
I used to sing in the tenor and baritone sections in choir because I could hit lower notes than the altos and not all their higher notes. I’m a contralto.
This voice combined with those eyes - very deadly combination
You can say that again-
He would be the real reason sailors said no women on ships. Bc you’d look over the railing and say where’s the ocean, i only see women
True that!
The voice, the eyes and the curls are to drown for.lol

Countertenors are generally baritones with highly developed falsetto ranges.
Finally a cover for a song that have fantasy vibes, but the male voice convince me
I can't get enough of his voice, he really is like a Siren😍🧜♂️
I love that the cc says boy while the song says bold
You have really a very rare vocal timbre indeed!
Very impressive control at such a high octave.
People prob ask how high your voice goes... but what i wanna know is HOW DEEP YOUR VOICES CAN GO ❤
Voice* 😂 i prob mistook them for voices coz (i hear them in my head) 🤭 am jk

Agreed!!!
I just wanna know how to train the voice to get up this high
