It doesn’t matter if some other team is willing to give Dak Prescott “Kirk Cousins Money.” What matters to the Cowboys: “We will pay a QB a boatload IF we have confidence he can win in the playoffs.” Anyone who’s witnessed what’s happened in the postseason with the Cowboys and STILL thinks Dak should be “paid” is either blind or a fool, probably both.

Romo was a choke artist of the 10th degree and so is Dak. Dak has an all time Average of 44% when he plays against winning teams. He can't read defenses and when he is facing a defensive coordinator who knows this and throws all this stuff at him he messes up and thros pick 6s. Beating teams with losing records and getting lots of yards and stats and sacks from that but then getting beat down by teams that are playoff caliber means that in the grand scheme of things and in the universal order of life you sit in between the really good teams because they always beat you and you are better than the really bad teams because you always beat them. You are in the middle. That is your place in the scheme of things.
This is why all that stat talk is BS and these stats are illusions because they don't really represent the whole scenario. They only represent one side of the coin as it were.
All the games that dak lost this year against “good” teams, only 1 was on him and that was against the 49ers. Dak against the dolphins was doing pretty well for shitty play calling and no blocking, against the bills i was there to watch it in person and the dallas o line was horrible and no one was getting open, against Detroit dallas got out of a loss bc of refs but dak still played well but again shitty play calling. It isnt dak who isnt good against good teams, its the cowboys against good teams. The cowboys arent facing their opponents, its them facing themselves, but everyone is gonna blame dak
That's absolutely not true at all. You just need to look at the actual stats and make a comparison of his stats since 2019 against losing teams and then compare those with stats against winning teams and it will start to unravel for you. @@ladpizzaman881

As a cowboy fan I wish for a QB that does not have a 9-5 TD to INT ratio in the playoffs over 3 seasons especially when 4 of the TD's came against a team with a losing record and 3 more coming after 2 of the interceptions helped to put them in a 27-0 deficit. In 3 playoff losses he has thrown as many picks as TD's.

The goal is to win a championship and the cowboys cannot win a championship paying Dak the amount of money he wants. It takes talent away from the team.
Yes the cowboys may take a step back moving on from Dak, but they may find a QB that can bring a Super Bowl to Dallas, so the choices are stay with Dak and never win a Super Bowl or choose a different QB and maybe win a Super Bowl. He threw 1 pick and they went down 20-0, then he threw the pick 6. The game was already out of hand at that point. The packers went down field their first drive in a few plays and the cowboys were stumped from that point on. Dak didn't play well that's for sure but to put this entire loss on him is ridiculous. I guess any other qb would have won a game where the defense gave up 40+ points 😂
