GHPC Intrepid Invasion #2

The game plan is supposed to be your M2 section clears a hillside ATGM before the remaining company joins you.
I only moved up 20 meters and several distant boggies were in sight, and I start taking them out with the hillside berm providing some hull protection.
So what does the rest of the company do? They take off balls to the wall in a frontal attack. Every one of the idiots got picked off while I advanced up the right flank exploiting cover. The atgm was taken out by one of the other Nato units.
The mission script didn't wait for me to complete my task. I don't see much point in going full frontal and getting picked off. You can't shoot moving faster than 1st gear. There are too many Pact units to get very far running with the company head on.
So this mission really baffles me.
I used the M2 50mm mod on this mission. Not 100% purist gameplay, but meh, 99% ?
