thanks for your tips, using the reflect shield really help on this fight. I normally try and melee them all, and this one was not having it. Guess scholar blood + range attacks is the way forward on this one. Most likely range attacking make all bosses easier.
This game is rage inducing - I've watched a number of these videos where it just seems to look so simple and yet she constantly chases me in the battles so I can't maintain the distance. It's rage quit kind of territory!
I've been using the crossbow with chaos orbs and 2 healing skills for sustain. I've found it much easier than trying to use melee vs bosses, since they can take like 1/4 of your hp down with 1 hit, so you can just volley (or whatever its called) and use the instant shot, and chaos orbs to wittle them down, and have 2 healing skills to use if you get hit
@@azakatura just used a iron crossbow and it helped out so much, I was able to defeat the sun priestess and that vincent frostbringer. Just researched a merciless iron crossbow so I'm trying to craft that now

I was contemplating buying this game now i will it looks good I have been playing pathfinder wrath of the righteous And 1 of my fights was against a Maralith Demon that had fighter levels mas that fight was nasty
i tested the game with a friend today, but the server thing is a major turn off. joining a server and not knowing if its online again tomorrow or if there a free spots is just stupid. i dont want to start over multiple times
Me and my friend has just died continuously to Octavian for about 2 hours. We have Iron/Merciless iron gear and cotton armor, and feel extremely under leveled. Tips for the boss or to progress from this point?
You can cheese octavian by using the walls at either side of him. Whenever he uses his Whirlwind attack you can just run around the wall to the left or to the right of him and he will get stuck on the other side. Hope this helps!
spam shield of the damned whenever you can so he focuses on the skeletons and use the chaos balls and reaper's E, when he uses the whirlwind attack dash through him because he has a hard time changing directions during that attack
Hey Damone, I am stuck at around gear level 50. I beat all the bosses under Frostmaw and I can't beat him, but I can't upgrade my gear. Am I supposed to just grind scrolls/random recipes to upgrade my gear?
go with merciless hollowfang armor and merciless reaper, use chaos and unholy shield and let him kill himself, all you'll have to do is dash and dodge while your shields are in cd
@@aarontinkler5705 You can use range damage from spells and crossbow, dodge or if you have it double dodge to get distance from his attacks, use bone shield to summon skeletons when reflecting damage. You just want to avoid the stun lock pattern with the boulders and his melee and from there is isn't too bad. Also do the fight solo with enough gear score should help since the team scaling makes fights really difficult.
@@aarontinkler5705 the way i beat him was using melee and making sure to use spells like Blood Aegis and Blood Rite to negate damage. i also use the chaos dodge ability since it gives you 2 dodges instead of 1 and is good for melee the trick is to let him do his ground slam attack, walk behind him as he does it, get dmg in, and as the rocks fall down just make sure you stay close to him. the rocks fall in a circle a distance around him and they cant hit you if you stay close. Pop your spells when he attacks you and only use your dodges when he is either doing the ground slam or when he is using is rage ability and getting faster. you can beat him with a range build but i find that getting in close with him in melee makes a LOT of his kit not useful against you and as long as you constantly use barriers and counters to negate his dmg he cant hurt you too much
i just lured him to a stone golem. he will aggro on the golem and the golem will do some tanking for you while you use ranged dmg to whittle him down. when he aggros back onto you just walk around and bait him back to the golem. it makes his fight much easier
Remember, bosses get stronger the more people fight at the same time. A trick is have one person lower the hp first , to half , and then the rest comes in. Works like a charm

Think I'm going to try that out now, I mainly use chaos orbs and I realized I hardly even use melee

Brew yourself a fire resist pot, +50 fire resist for 20 minutes will help survive a few mishaps

The dam Frost Giant lurking monster (Frostmaw) was a pain to deal with because of his frost spells and closing melee.
He's actually pretty easy just let him kill himself with your shields lmao

The bear boss was enough for me to quit lol couldn’t imagine doing this
I died 10x fighting that boss then on my final fight I survived with 90% hp just by learning his pattern and changing my strategy

Try entering build mode, highlight it and look to see if the space bar will let you deconstruct.
We tried it with 3 of us it gets extremely difficult.
