I am sure a lot of coffee geeks would be very interested in this fact . I just tested the water dripping onto the coffee beans. It was fairly difficult to get a thermocouple into the basket but I managed. The water spends most of its time between 195 degrees in 205 degrees. I would estimate it spends at least 90% of the time in the range. It started out a little low at about 185 degrees but fairly quickly got up above 195 degrees. The pre-infusion only reached about 155 degrees but that is because so little water was dropped into the basket then. I have not done a time test. Also this was for a single travel mug of coffee. Oh by the way this was a really nice Cup of coffee.
I am quite picky about my coffee (own a grinder and often make french press)- never before has the coffee smelled this good in the house, and the Ninja makes the same coffee taste better. CHEERS!

It still works it just need a descaling and I’m afraid it’s going to get so clogged doing it that it won’t come out! But in all fairness to my Keurig I didn’t do regular descaling on it. 💙♥️☕️☕️☕️

I love mine!! I got it for a Christmas present 2 years ago and still using it I buy my own Dunkin’ Donuts bag of coffee and I make it in my ninja and to tell you the truth it taste just like dunkins actually the same so if you don’t have one I recommend you buy one worth every penny 😃
I've bought the Ninja coffeebar, but what I've noticed this morning when I made my coffee is that it over felled the mug. I've selected the one cup selection, put the right amount of coffee, selected the classic brew, and when it start brewing. I left to have my breakfast and when I've turned I've realised that it hadn't stopped. My mug had been over full, into the point it dripping.
I got tired of spending so much money on kcups so I bought this. Yeah, it's a lot of money up front but I feel like it'll save me money in the long run. Not to mention it's such a waste to throw all of those kcups away. I just brewed a single cup of Sumatra coffee from Starbucks and yeah... it tastes like it does when I go there. I like it. I'm probably not going to buy such expensive coffee in the long run but I wanted a first quality cup. What can I say.
Kcups are just ridiculously expensive on a per-cup basis, and a decent maker to brew them with will run you close to 100. And the coffee isnt that great imo, its just heavily flavored, and there no control over the strength of your brew. I picked up the ninja from Ollies for about 90$ and can brew/flavor how I like it for less cost per cup Not to mention that ive read that the kcup makers are typically very dirty because of how the cup get punctured and all, making it hard to clean. Plus the water stabding in the tubes can get stagnet if not used and flushed frequently, which usually doesnt happen from what ive seen.
So far it seems like a good coffee maker, and I really like the design because I dont have to pull the unit out from its place in the counter to add coffee grounds and water. I got a refurb unit from Ollies, so this may not apply to all units, but a couple minor things are worth mentioning. The instructions show a slightly different model with an OFF position on the brew size selector. There is no off position on the unit tho. The manual also seems to forget to mention exactly how you turn it off before the 2 hr timer expires. According to the manual, it seems obvious that you'd simply switch it to the off position, but thats not possible on the production model they are selling, and fail to mention an alternative method. The videos on yt dont specifically cover tge issue either, but it seems like toggling the Keep Warm button will do the trick, or switching to a mode that doesnt use the warming plate, like Travel Mug mode. Either way, it takes a few minutes for the hot surface indicator to go out
The trick is to put hot tap water in the container so when it heats it does it faster. I also make sure I don't use a cold cup, but a glass one, that helps too. I've learned this from the failed k cup experience, and it keeeps it 10 F hotter which makes a huge difference. let me know it it helps!

There is a code on the digital screen that reads "CI n" what does this mean, my machine isn't brewing anything no matter what I do. The clean light is also on but isn't doing anything. Btw I have the warming plate machine.

Can you use expresso in this? After brewing coffee from a normal coffee machine, I usually add instant expresso to it. Will this allow me to brew regular expresso that's not instant? Or do I still need a seperate machine?

You say in this video the hot plate keeps the coffee warm for two hours after brewing but when I go to buy this machine it says in the features section that it stays warm for 30 minutes after brewing. Can you please confirm the time after brewing please.
I always use distilled water so i know there is no internal calcium buildup in mine. I did find a button holding key sequence a while back on the internet that instantly cleared/canceled the clean led without the full clean cycle, but can not remember or find it online now. If anyone knows please share. I'm sure Ninja will not disclose this.

You can make a hot frappachino just press specialty brew instead of overice.. but if your talking about like a Starbucks iced frap or Tim Hortons Ice cap the machine won't make the icy slush stuff it will just provide you with the coffee to add into it.
I have this coffee bar and used over ice for the first time, this guy mentioned that, the over ice brew will not water down but it did melt my ice completely. It still tastes great but just want to make sure that the ice melting is normal?
Rich Brew is not for people who like more cream or sugar in their coffee it's for people that like the taste of coffee strong coffee it's what it's supposed to be now in your Ninja maybe it's just a little stronger than normal for people to add more cream and sugar but that's not a rich Brew get it straight look it up ask questions
Unfortunately NINJA refuse to explain to its customers exactly what triggers the scale warning. It is very unlikely there is an accurate built-in sensor that can measure the thickness of scale that may or may not be present in the machine - this would be too expensive for a budget domestic brewer. It could be they have a very crude scale sensor that is of poor design and therefore not accurate. Or it could be a dumb sensor (i.e. fake) that detects nothing and then decides to give a warning just for fun. Who knows .. but you won't get a straight answer from NINJA! Shame on them.
I have several ninja products. Today one of your customer service people told me my clean light issue can not be resolved because it's out of warranty. You get that? It can't be repaired because it's out of warranty. So you won't sell me the part or anything. Ninja is dead to me.

I've had 2 of these both died after just over one year (the lenght of the warranty) my $20.00 mr coffee has lasted 4 years and still runs great

The difference is that the stainless steel is a vacuum thermos. It does not have or need a warming plate. It will stay warm for about 2 hours.
Auto IQ doesn't work. When I fill the water to the fill line, it gives me 12oz of coffee for the cup size and 24oz for the travel mug.
