@@mcgregorpiper Your correct.....I wasnt thinking when i replied look how long it's been since you corrected me I meant to put Gaelic after Scottish which would have been only half correct thanks again mcgregorpiper.
hoopy58 If she was born in '54 this seams very unlikely, especially as on the back of the ep it says she has a baby and is married to a doctor on the isle of Harris. I would estimate 1978, though these may date from after the whole Anika period, mid '80's perhaps, for it also says she STILL finds time to do concerts and make TV appearances. I know she returned to Folk singing after Aneka but since Thistle put no dates on their eps it's very hard to tell...
rwm hunt You may well be correct mid 60s seems to early mid 70s I should have stated and it could even stretch to the early 80s I have 4 thistle records/labels and the only one I can date with certain is from 1972 but it is not a EP and has not date stamped but I know for certain it is from 1972 to 1973 so you may well be spot on.
en que idioma es esto?
Karen Oyardo it is English with a Scottish accent visit and you will understand it easier.

MsThe678 1966 - 1968 going off Thistle serial number is the closest I can get.

This tune sounds suspiciously like "FROM BOTH SIDES NOW" by Joni Mitchell.
