this is the thing with a lot of these acoustic or mtv unplugged versions with nirvana songs, they always use the studio versions of the vocals. the instrumentals are usually fine and accurate for the most part, but the vocals are very unrealistic. kurt, and really no artist for that matter, ever sound exactly how they do in the studio. i feel like if someone was able to get a good rip of a live vocal track of this song and make an acoustic instrumental, it’d sound not only really good, but be extremely accurate to how it’d actually sound if they did play this during their mtv unplugged set.
I agree, it would sound more realistic. But, sometimes I just don't want to spend hours cleaning up a live vocal track, and dealing with all the tempo variations that are more common in a live performance. Thanks for listening!
