Just for clarification for anyone else viewing this, all you have to do to get the mirror off is to remove the small black plastic insert that appears above the mirror toward the roof. Just put your finger under the end down toward the mirror mount and pull up, It will pop right out. With that single piece removed all you have to do then is to tilt the mirror up and you can access the screw to remove the old mirror. Took all of 5 minutes to change it out. You do not have to remove the whole large plastic piece that surrounds the mirror.

Terry W is correct, 5 minutes to replace ours, 2022 Telluride. Removed mounting screw, up and out with mirror, popped center piece out, plugged new mirror in and reverse process. About that fast! Programming was easy too! Thanks for the video!

I got my 2024 EX last week and was surprised, as many probably are, that the EX doesn’t have Homelink. I bought my mirror through Walmart due to their return policy. I wasn’t sure if this mirror would work because there is no information available on the 2024s. The dealer didn’t even have a parts catalog for the 2024 model yet.

Does anyone know if I can add this to a 2023 Telluride S model which I recently bought? The S trim does not come with an auto dimming mirror so I was wondering if that would be a factor or not.
From what I remember, I don’t think you can since it does not have the harness to the mirror.
Is the power plug a 10 pin or 5 pin?
I wonder if this is a standard fit to any year model, just got my telluride two weeks ago, btw I like your dashboard design the classic speedometer’s 2024 doesn’t have that option

You’ll need to have the auto dimming feature on the mirror in order for this to work. If you have just a base mirror, than you won’t be able to.

As long as the mirror the car came with has power (auto dim or compass), it’s prewired for the Homelink mirror.

That’s not an OEM option. I wanted a plug and play option from the factory for a simple install.
