Bodom is known from a murders of 3 teen ages (2 Girls, 1 guy) the fourth one survived. This happened at 1960. Alexi passed away a day after my mother died 💔
Don't know what is my favorite song, but the first song I heard from them was actually their song Children Of Bodom, and I believe Downfall was next. Both are still among my favorites. Year was 1999 and I was mesmerized by the melodies and drums, not so much of vocals thou. It is crazy that Alexi was just 19 when they recorded that album, "Hatebreeder"...and perhaps even crazier, that he had just turned 18 when they recorded "Something Wild". I recommend their studio versions.
Kinda funny, I've never listened to COB, even though I live less than 10 km away from this particular lake. Maybe I will in the future, thanks for presenting this to me all the way behind the ocean .
That "wanting to be a guitarist and sing because of Alexi" moment you had, I had with Trivium seeing Matt Heafy, however I've always been a bass player so there's that difference between me and the three of you (you Matt and Alexi)

Hatebreeder is def my favorite album, and Children of Bodom is my favorite song overall. Fitting! 😄
