    Awesome tutorial! Just a little correction, at: 10:44 the first chord says 57X9 but you play 57X6 which is the correct note (a C in 2nd string instead of a D). Thanks for your time!

      I used 12-16-20-34-46-60
      Although that low E 60 gauge was a little too tight. You might be able to do with an in-between gauge.

    you could also use a 7 string with regular 7 string gauge and just lower the low B to an A and the G to a Gb

    I'm trying to learn this on my strat copy, with like 9 gage strings. hopefully if I get a new guitar soon I can get lower gage strings to play songs like this more confidently :)

      Yeah you are gonna need those thicker strings. Otherwise it's spaghetti city. Go for it!

    Just gonna note that those add9 chords that this song uses (the stretchy pinky ones) are WAY easier on a 7 string because every note on the G# string of a 6 in drop A would be a half step lower since it'd be tuned to G on a 7 string in drop A. Would definitely recommend you either tune the G# to a G or use a 7 string for this song. Makes things a lot easier.

    Ellos vinieron a Perú a finales del año pasado y por lo q veo todas sus canciones están en esa afinación aunque luego le hizo algo a la sexta cuerda. Gracias por el vídeo si tenía curiosidad sobre cómo se tocaba. No sé si podría hacer un tutorial de Killswitch engage my curse.

      @@franciscohinostroza1004 Ami me paracen genial. tienen un look muy vintage. Nunca e tocado una guitarra Gretsch pero si que me gustaría probarla. Honestamente, si es una guitar electrica, puedes tocar metal. Mi strandberg is un modelo Boden classic y tiene pickups estilo Fender. Y de todas maneras toco metal con el.

      My hands are tiny too lmao, it’s all about those hand stretches you do before playing or practicing that’ll help you be able to stretch farther

    your low A is flat for most of the song. A bit distracting.
    keep in mind that you have to tune according to how you attack the strings when playing this low.

      The tension change is very significant in low tunings! I learned that when first trying slipknot with 10s 😆

    I looked up the tabs, saw the tuning, thought "there's no way it's tuned that damn low on a 6-string, has to be drop A on a 7-string", watched the music video and saw 6 strings, "nah, studio magic", came here...
    What the hell. Time to buy a 7-string solely because this tuning is such a hassle.
