The Chinook came to unload the operators from the opposite direction that the initial rangers were flown in and unloaded from. Instead of flying in from a direction previously verified as safe, they came in from a new direction and were spotted. The rules of engagement for Special military units like DEVGRU are basically non existent since the missions they go on themselves are non existent in the fact that JSOC never verifies any missions that take place period. This lady doesnt know what the hell shes talking about. War is war and war is unfair. Sometimes the good guys get lucky, and sometimes the bad guys get lucky. RPGs always get launched at helos and sometimes they hit and sometimes they dont. This was just one of the unfortunate times that the rocket did hit
