The biggest ignorance the circles a bass boat is the Allison. The Allison Bassport XB21 is the size of 700 series of a pheonix , 21 ft Triton HP, and a Legend Alpha 211 (21ft boat). Yes Allison owns all the Bassboat speed trap records. The Bassport XB21 is extremely tournament functional, it has some of the most innovative . The Allison runs rough chop better than the other boats mentioned in your comparison. I know several bullet converts to the new XB21 Passport. The Allison is the most efficient hull in the bass boat industry. Something that is already forgotten is the fact that an Allison ran in the 2014 Bassmaster Elite Tour by Grant Goldbeck who ran bass cat, champion, and several skeeters during his pro tour career. Because of his endorsement opportunities he was able to run any hull. Allison doesn't have tour pro memo programs like the other companies. But Goldbeck said it best, " In 2014 I flew out to a couple boat plants, I was going to run bullet that year and I changed at the last second after riding in an XB21. I had to have my boat fully purchased from Allison and I put a 225 SHO. It was the best riding, most effiecient hull I have ever rode in for the last 20 years. I was shocked. At the Elites I have all the Marshalls passenger with me and every single one was shocked. The ride in rough chop was superior. I think the biggiest issue is folks will have an opinion about a boat but never really have the seated time. Personally, I have ran 20 ft champ, 21 SS Bullet, 20ft Gambler, 21ft Ranger, 21ft I-class Skeeter, 21ft Legend 211 Alpha, 21 ft 900 series Pheonix and 700 series pheonix. The XB21 (in my oninion simply out performed the above boats in nearly every performance category. The stability of XB21 is shocking. Rough water handling (a very very subjective topic) was amazing in the XB21. I have sense ran 3 of them now. But it was great watching Grant Goldbeck literally become a believer. He would text his cohorts the messages he would get from other Elite pros: Hey man you went right by me in those 2 and 3 foot wave faces."...." dude does Allison have a program? You can google Allison and Bassmaster and the story lines will come up... very good read and part of recent history people just don't know. I would suggest going to Allisons website and researching some the facts about the boat and boat company. I don't have my XB21 set up for speed. I have it set up to carry an extremely heavy tournament load. There will be an Allison XB21 in the new APEX Pro Tour Television professional bass tour coming 2021. Last I understand Team Marine Services opinion, maybe someday they will get a chance to run that boat in some nasty chop in direct comparison with other hulls. I did this test against my 21ft Legend. I good rough water boat, great fishing platform. My Legend, took 2ft plus chop well to about 43 mph (safe handling) and my XB21 took the exact same water at 63 mph with room to spare. The Allison XB21 also has had zero (zero) transom failures for over 30 years due to the alloy grid transom. Many companies claim have the "strongest" transom in the industry you all have seen the commercials , the RUclips plant tours, so on. Mr. Allison put it this way, " I am not sure who has the strongest transom". but I can promise you we have had zero transom failure for over 30 years. My two cents.

Two year old video so I know I’m late to the party, but Team Marine Service how do you do this video with absolutely no knowledge of an XB21 Allison with a traditional bassboat layout, and then get an education from David Swenseid here, and your only comment is that they’re Fugly? I’m not upset if you think they’re fugly and overpriced, but when you do a brand battle you should know what you’re comparing. This was like doing a truck video between a Chevy 1500, Ram 1500 and a Ford Maverick (or whatever their front wheel drive car with a bed is called). Ford has an F150 and Allison has a 21 foot standard bassboat layout.
Like your videos and will keep watching.

Allison is Number 1 by far, especially in build quality and performance! The XB 21 Bassport Elite is years ahead of any tournament boat, that’s why all the other companies copy them! Recessed trolling motor pedal, pad bottom V, all composite construction, All Allison firsts! Allison doesn’t use any chopper guns at all! 100% hand laid materials!

My Boss has a Allison that I fished out of a lot. Couple things, first you can’t run around at 100 and he seldom drove it over 60. At 60 it got 2X the gas mileage as my 18ft 150 boat. With its odd center cockpit layout it was very quiet and comfortable at speed. In fact you could go 60 in the rain stay dry and talk so it was hands down the most comfortable bass boat to ride in that I’ve ever been in. Being accustom to a 18 ft boat the fish ability was ok, the 2003 Bass Sport is a small 20 ft Boat. The quality is great and it rides great even on Lake Ontario in water that a bass boat has no businesses being in. As far as a family friendly fishing boat I consider getting one and putting a 150 on it, the companies litterateur says that the 2003 Bass Sport if you’re not comfortable with an 80 mph boat that you should rig it with a 115. 20ft bass boat 115! They have a more traditional boat model know that I haven’t been in.

Pretty good review. The 21' bullet is a killer rig, as is the blazer. Both top notch tourney rigs that will run in the 80s. The xb21 Ally is in its own league. It is a true tourney rig that will run near 100 and beat everyone in rough water. The stroker is in line with the 21 bullet for ride and will run with an Ally.
All great rigs, pick your flavor. If you've never been in any of them I urge you to go for a ride if given the chance. You'll want to chit can your mass produced rigs pronto!! How these 21' boats handle rough water is totally different than any of the mass produced popular brands.
These elite brands are deeper hulls toward the ass end of the boats. And they stay up and cut the tops of the heavy chop. Whereas the heavy mass produced rigs snow plows heavy chop and busts its way thru.

Lol is it more expensive than the others ....... yes but you get what you pay for right! Just take a ride in one , not at 100 mph there’s time for that.

I have fished and drove and owned all those boats you mentioned. Gamblers are back in production in South Carolina I wish them luck. My son wants a Gambler. The blazer hull is nearly a copy of a bullet just a different style transom in my opinion but still a nice boat. Too bad you have not seen or rode in many Allisons, The 21XB has got more bells and whistles than any other brand you mentioned it is surely a tournament boat besides being the fastest and best ride and very good fuel economy. But with Bullets invention of the 21XRS that fixed the one little nuisance of the live well lid and rear storage lids being able to catch air time, It has been my favorite so far. They are the sleekest and best looking in my opinion. Still dont understand your love with Champions. Did anyone here post, well that the Blazer V Hull pad design, came from the Bullet Bass boat company. 100% true and a full splash but made with inferior gels, resins and non coated plywood. Pad, lifting strakes all splashed but with the a chopper and plywood structure. Bob at Gambler/Shearwater has had some we will just say Financial issues due to stubbornness and being a True Design genius in our very small business, I don’t know the details just the players. Now it’s sold to a new company. Allison boats have put more Revolutionary into Bass Boats than any brand out their. Starting with Paul Allison and his “cupped propeller invention” by accident, v hull Bass boats and you can’t say Wrangler from Skeeter since it’s a 100% splash of the Incredible Hydrostream Viper, also splashed was the Hydrostream Ventura 2 a 17.2’ Pad V monster that can handle 250hp and 110mph aerodynamically challenged speeds, the past is the past and most today have no idea what the truth really was. That Hydrostream hull made by a Small Manufacturer in Minnesota and a clean sheet design from one or 2 men’s heads, Inventor Howard Pipkorn and Legendary Ron Baker, their hulls started more boat company’s than coke has sold soda pop!!!! Not quite but between ‘Hydrostream and Don Aronows 24’x7’ 24 degree deep v our history I’d quite a story of Boat Building
