Very helpful video content, as usual😊 thorough and comprehensive👍🌺 I noticed you didn't include lava rock. Any particular reason? Hopefully it's not a poor choice as I use it for my phals, along w other media, as well😮 One thing that always has me baffled---how are the orchid roots not damaged by heavy media like rocks, lava rock, even bark etc? I will definitely be referring back to this video as I have several phals that will need Repotting soon! Thank you so much for this one!😊🌺😊
Ah yes Lava rock . we dont have much of that here . it is not easily available . It is a very good media as it also very porous . The roots tend to go where they want to and move stuff out of their way as they grow 😉
thank you . a new mic and I am struggling to wrap my head around the tech 🤣 need to watch some youtube videos to help me with that 🤣thanks for the feed back 💕
@@thenaturecompany You're very welcome, and believe me, I completely understand and appreciate your effort even more..hahaha!! I don't I could do what you do! 💞
I love you channel and appreciate all knowledge and advise. Would it be possible for you to make a guide with recommended potting media by orchid type? I live in Southern Florida and all my orchids are outside. I am struggling how to chose media for cattleyas vs dendrobiums vs phals. Thank you in advance. Be well!
As always, great practical information.
Glad it was helpful!
Excellent video, thank you
