  • Follow along with Joel Salatin as he takes you on a tractor tour around the regenerative farm of many faces. Along the way Joel visits the mobile infrastructure of the pasture raised broiler chickens. Then, visiting the barn Joel demonstrates the carbonaceous diaper concept and how to turn carbon into compost using winter bedding and the animals as workers. Following that, Joel makes a stop in the pastures where he demonstrates a cattle move using his Salad Bar Beef concept. Finally the tour makes its last stop at the millennium feathernet (the pastured egg laying hen shelter) and demonstrates how he keeps 1000 laying hens for eggs on pasture in a rotational grazing plan behind the cattle.

Hello Joel, at a similar age to yourself and from the UK. i wonder what is in store for our children and g. children with the way both our countries are being run. Noone will be able to accuse you of not doing your bit regards teaching future generations on how to farm and grow food etc, and all with a lot more thought and commonsense. Your word has reached people all over the world, our country included with people turning to regenerative farming practices without the need to subsidise the chemical industry and destroy the land they are trying to live off. Globalisation is sweeping the world with government trying to control the way you live and what you eat. I enjoy watching your government committee hearings while you educate them on the way things should be done, it seems you do have your supporters there. We raised pigs for pork bacon etc while a kid in the fifties and sixties and remember the old ways of doing things, its so different now. I have just watched another tour and never get tired of them, thank you for all you do and i wish you and yours the best, with great admiration and regards Alan from the UK.

Sir, thank you very much for sharing what you do. A businessman would say you should keep your competitive advantage secret. But thankyou so much for sharing it. I hope to farm similar to you some day. May the Lord bless you.

You make it look fun Joel. Your product is something all humans . We need to make every job in this country count. Too many jobs are non productive and people can't wait until their 50 or so to retire. If your job is something you are passionate about retire isn't a priority

I'm not sure if it's addressed but do they plant trees in quantities that approach sustainable levels or even net regenerative? like really nit pick it sort of levels right? wood is one of the longest crops they have so is there an end to the supply?

I recently seen where a celeb turned (Pharmer) said Joel was full of it. true no one is perfect or infallible or has all the answers, but truth V lies, time will always reveal who's really the liar. sadly, we live under a very broken system.

I used to think a great vacation was traveling to the beach or another country. I bought 43 acres of land and now I think a great vacation is attending a seminar with Joel Salatin or other regenerative farmers.

28 from the middle of nowhere America. I am currently working on building a sharecropping business using your grazing techniques as well as permaculture for things like landscape and water management. I started with a very hard clay with some patches of what my old man calls buffalo grass and seep weed. Now, i have tall fescue, brome, wild sorghum, orchardgrass and other things i cant identify growing everywhere! I haven't even gotten to the animals yet because I didn't have the money to get any, let alone feed them. Now... I may be able to earn cash by letting others graze their herds here! Till I can buy my own breeding stock. Thank you for teaching me about Mobstocking Herbivorous Solar Conversion Lignified Carbon Sequestration. 😂 Live long man!
Edit: Side note, I've studied nutrition and fitness for quite a long time now and I can confidently say that your upright pulling and pushing of things like your chicken tractors keeps your knees and hips healthy and strong. I bet you can run pretty fast, especially for your age! Or jump far beyond what anyone would expect.

Hi Joel! I have a small farm in Oregon… less than 2 years. Pastured, organic poultry, eggs, also raising pastured lamb, beef and pork. Major student of yours and regenerative agriculture!!! I’m a subscriber of Beyond Borders 🙌🏽I recently found another LUNATIC LIBERTARIAN -Larry Sharpe-here on RUclips and I’m just LOVING his livestreams. I had an idea- what if YOU had a discussion on ANYTHING with him? It would be FANTASTIC!! Seriously we all could benefit from a conversation like that🙏🏽 Just an idea - I can imagine you are one of the busiest people on the planet!! Thanks so much for EVERYTHING 💚💚💚
