How does it make sense to only ban someone for 5 years from working with children when they have been soundly convicted of having a sexual interest in children - surely it should be a life time ban. Someones sexual preference doesn’t change, it is how they are hardwired and time doesn’t change that - if I am wrong please correct me in the comments.

Why did the fact that it occurred before his fame exonerate him? I accept that there's possibly an argument that an offender who has served his punishment should be able to then rebuild their life afterwards. But someone like Rolf Harris could never have stepped out on stage ever again. So what was different about Grantham, that viewers were willing to just sweep his crime under the rug? Very unique case.

Obviously once dad had finished he could discuss the case with us which he did and its so heartbreaking what he did and the victim deserved much further justice than she got but equally the relief that he was successfully prosecuted and jailed also dad was so grateful for- never been more proud of him (and my ex was a jury foreperson for a horrific child molestation case which she was deeply affected by) but they both made me so so proud👏🏻
