Do you transplant once you get the plants from the nursery? What about changing the potting soil? I often find that the potting soil is hard & needs to be loosened.
@@gardenonmymind524 ok. I buy most of my plants from APD Jeevan bhima nagar and the soil is hard as hell. I take out half of it, add compost & repot into a bigger pot. But then it takes time to root, growth slows down a lot Am basically a new indoor gardener - only into otg for several years.
@@gardenonmymind524 I bought from Lalbagh.... same story..... it was hard hard mud.... how do they even manage to grow anything in it beats me. I ended up reporting & am keeping my fingers crossed

yes I bring them down once. week to water them and they are the ones which need the top soil to dry out completely for eg philodendrons and Pothos

I don’t repot immediately - I try to buy plants which have been repotted recently and looks fresh but if it very clay types I definitely do repot
