I love Tegan and Sara, one of my Top 10 favorite bands of all time! A little bummed though that they did not acknowledge the Sainthood era, it's my 2nd favorite album of theirs behind The Con
Their tv show is SO good! And perfectly captures that era and CALGARY!
it's a shame they dogged sainthood. it's an underrated album with several great songs

I never liked it all that much. It felt like for _The Con_ what _Amnesiac_ was to _Kid A_ . The weird album that was kinda like the last one but mostly the stuff that didn't really fit.

Sainthood is their most amazing experimental record for them, there's so many nuances in it. There's so many complex harmonies in the songs. I am sad it keeps being ignored. But happy to know it's Sara's favourite album.
I'm directly beside the high school they went to and remember the huge production crew and trailers when their show was filmed. These two are great artists and people.

I'm a very new Tegan and Sara fan. I bought Heartthrob literally two weeks ago and I haven't been able to listen to anything else. I adore Heartthrob. It speaks to me ... and it's fabulous music as well! Now I'm going to dive down the rabbit hole, and this wonderful video has given me a template for how to do that. 🤗🤗 (two hugs, of course!)

I mean they at least mentioned they were "skipping" Sainthood. They completely skipped Love You to Death. That aside, I really loved this interview.

You know they are doing something right when a 51-year-old straight guy who listens to mostly 60's, 70's, & 80's rock has their entire discography weaved throughout his playlist. It's not at all uncommon to hear a string like: Zeppelin, Janis, T&S, GnR, Journey, Motley Crue, The Who, T&S, Stones, Beatles, Bad Company, T&S....
wow, did you ever miss the point they were making. haha. I know what you're trying to say, but you're so blind to how it's coming across. Their measure of "doing something right" has nothing to do with a straight guy. Unfortunately they've been dependent on that because of the design of the world. But in reality, they couldn't care less what an old straight guy thinks. That's the entire point they were trying to make.
