But with queer artists there is this type of connection/understanding. They've shared their experiences , while also making songs I enjoy. That's why they're my favorite band. And I know other fans feel the same way..
I can see your initial point, cus I’ve felt like there are say different musicians/groups who have the same sound but are categorized different genres because of what they want to be seen as or bc of how their marketers or consumers want to see them? Majority of consumers need an “agreeable” popular sound, not the best technical math or contemporary sound, which can still succeed outside of the mainstream spotlight. And idk, I could imagine Dave Grohl covering their con albums and albums that sound alike and would sound pretty great, I could imagine a bunch of artists who could cover them and it would still sound great. I feel like most lesbian musicians don’t sound like eachother either, just maybe singing about similar themes heh
Tegan and Sara's performance was amazing, fun, and energetic! Great performance. You both looked like you were enjoying yourselves and it showed!
Wonderful artists.
They're the best, I hope I can meet them someday
i miss and love you so much!!
These guys took over for Kevinn and Bean?
These days it's all about whatever category you fit in, music is unrelevant
Not necessarily. Tegan and Sara's music helped me come out, but it's not just that. They are also really talented, funny and genuinely good people.
@@maya_k_2357 you're confirming it's all about WHO is making the music. I doubt you would listen to the same songs if they were by someone else.

@@maicabrera7681 yeah I've noticed a lot of queer specifically female artists get compared when they don't really sound alike
