Stevie has the knowledge of an encyclopedia and I can hear him speak about music for hours and hours. The story he told about how it took X amount of years for The Beatles to break versus the 2 years it took The Stones to break. How The Beatles helped The Stones break into music with a song they wrote for them-TREMENDOUS!
The more I watch Jonesy, the more I am convinced , he and DLT are one and the same. Play convoy please Jonesy, the Laurie Lingo and the Dipsticks version ?
My gran lived all her life in Holloway Road. She knew everyone there, and I'm now wondering if she knew him. To be honest, I'd never heard of him before I saw the film -- although I knew the tune well enough.
I was just a kid when she was still alive and so I don't just used to go there with my parents in the 70's (so didn't note the number) but it was a top floor flat and the building backed onto the back of a dance hall. Also, I think it was up towards the prison.
Rock and roll *could* be central to our culture again, but I'm not seeing any anger or a backlash towards commercial music, and this has me very worried. I guess people are too glued to their smartphones to care about a revolution.
I agree that the 1996 Sex Pistols were better as a unit and in concert. They were more accomplished as musicians and they were tighter live as well. Clearly they got better, but unfortunately they couldn’t get along and that was the end. Such a good and talented band but Johnny’s ego wouldn’t let it continue. A shame really.
i agree with the sex pistols being superb in 96 i worked on that tour they were smoking but i also worked with them in 2007 and 2008 and they were still smoking
You cant fix it Steven. We are all up against a power we can't win. Its not a fair fight. Unless we ALL get together and quit letting them separate us with race and social levels. You have to just let it go. We are people and are all the same. People are different only if you don't know them. Get to know them and you will see we are all the same.
Live bands need to get away from in ears shit with no back line. They don't move you with air! Just seen Foreigner and it was in ears no back line amps and its just not the same.
I saw Little Stevie and his band in Australia a while back and I highly recommend not missing them if they come to your town. What an amazing gig!
I could listen to these two guys all day long!!
Just a coupla of ole rock'n'roll warriors talkin' about the music they both love & have contributed so much to.

Very good! 😉
2007 tour was brilliant ..
great interview one of your best steve….
So many famous musicians become DJs. That's great. It wasn't enough to get oppurtunities as musicians that most people never get.
Just when I thought I was out...
i love these guys!
Man I missed this one. Was stuck at work. Was looking forward to hearing the whole show.
Steve Jones looking like a Ukranian gangster who rents out limousines and shady ladies. Long live Jonesy!
The more I watch Jonesy, the more I am convinced , he and DLT are one and the same. Play convoy please Jonesy, the Laurie Lingo and the Dipsticks version ?
We've never seen them in same room together. DLT is masquerading as Steve Jones.
YES, and here I am on Holloway rd, home of joe meek 'the telster man'.

House of Blues Chicago is still open. The Damned will be there May 30th.
That seemed like a very instinctive handshake.
A true Paesano !

RossBayCult John was more interested in his baby PiL which is a better band.
Cool
We fixed it alright...
But somehow the Millenials are an even bigger bunch of wankers than we were.
What a mess!
Dave Clark toured , USA, before , Beatles

KRAFTWERK!!!!
I was just gonna say how he looks like the guy outa Sopranos. I didn't know his name so I Googled it and fuck me sideways! it's him! yed's gone!
So Little Steve Van Zandt isn't so little, or young.
For me, Silvio and Paulie made the Sopranos. Neither were even real actors before the series!
Good show but Stevie is talking pants about Millennials, they go around the world talking about saving the Planet but can't even make their own beds.
Good stuff ... glad he didn’t bring his wife to push some book no one cares about 😁
ha ha ha good one
