In my opinion, this is one of the best scenes between both movies. It perfectly incapsulates who the guys are, not only individually but as a team. You can feel their dedication and that they love their work, but also that they're just guys doing their job and that they love to goof around to make it more fun. Besides that, microwaving the slime and using a toaster, as opposed to using more conventional or advanced methods, just shows off more of the idea that these are simple down to earth guys who are resourceful with what they can get. You feel like these guys trust each other and are really friends, which is all because of the great cast and their natural chemistry and comedy. Love this scene so much.
