The nikkor af 50mm, is the lens that was sold wi th the camera and work well. However I have used the nikkor e 50mm, which is only manual focus, but does is a good value lens. Thanks for watching. Andy
This was supposed to compete with Canon T90. I think Canon nailed the 'modern' ergonomics with the T90 whereas these were very much transitional and are much better value at the moment.

Is that camera made all plastic body. How do this camera work in program, what lens would that be for it to do so?
It might be plastic, but now that I have one I am impressed.. I would say any Nikon mount lens will work in P mode..
Some say these built by contax with Nikon badge......
The early nikon AF slr cameras were dodgy and nikon lost out to Canon in that respect...
