Excellent video. I now understand why my radon mitigation piping is installed into the home made lid on my sump pump. I need to get the sump pump serviced. Could a plumber do that or do i need a radon service company? I am awaiting the results of a recent First Alert radon test i conducted to see if i even have a radon problem. I ran the same test 3 years ago and the results indicated no radon problem...test scored 1 vs minimum of 4 which is the level where radon mit is recommended. My radon mit fan is also not working and i dont want to spend $500 to have it replaced if i dont have radon.
Yes, Jerry, a plumber can replace you sump pump. Be sure they seal the sump cover once they are done, though. Since there is no safe radon level, I would replace the radon fan if it were me in your situation. Be sure to test your radon again during the heating season since that's when radon levels are typically the highest. Here's a DIY fan replacement video if you'd like to tackle the project yourself: ruclips.net/video/qEADrgDg4kk/видео.html

Expected a demonstration of the new switch.
Sorry, I didn't have time, and I would have had to bucket water into the sump pump to activate the switch. I can assure you it works!
