I got saved in early fall of 1971 while a junior in high school. I asked God don't let me forget Him and He never has. Through these years He has never gotten old to me. His fellowship is new and fresh every day. I can't wait to meet Him in the air with the redeemed!! Praise God!!!
I wish I could say that. I'm so ashamed to say I lived a life of brokenness in sin and horrible darkness. Bad things happened as a kid and it broke my spirit. I couldn't believe Jesus loved me. If so why would he allow bad things to happen as a child. The shame. The guilt. The Satanic deceiving damage went deep. Until I met Jesus at 41 twenty years ago. I literally encountered the living majesty in his Glory. He set me free. Cleansed me. Saved my soul. I've still struggled neurologically from Traumatic brain injuries since and even today so it's hard to read and pray but I'm still trying. I hate it when I can identify his loving presence and other times I can. But the neurological struggles make it real hard. Please pray for me. Thank you. It would be such an honor to have access to a Godly brother from that era to talk to and counsel with and pray with. Thank you for your encouraging testimony.

I got saved at 15 in 1973. Was so blessed to live thru the Jesus movement, got a solid foundation in the Word, and the Holy Spirit is still with me. I cry whenever I hear Lovesong. Got to see most of them all in person at Calvary Chapel CM. Praising God I'm celebrating 50 yrs of Salvation now in 2023! 🙌🏼🙏🏼🙌🏼 I love You, Jesus! God is good ALL the time!

As a high school / college student in the 1970s I had their first album and saw Love Song at Dallas Explo ‘72 and on tour at Baylor in 1973 or ‘74. Unique sound and humble gifts from the Lord that blessed so many young people then - and now. Jesus is the Way!
I am blessed to have Met and speak with Brother Chuck Girard …my mom knew him Personally. I’ve also met and even prayed with Keith Green…THEN Finally Randy Stonehill. Thank God for the “Jesus Music” movement!

Mom took us out of school early. Graduated to 8th grade ironically went to Goddard Middle School. But GOD is ABSOLUTELY GOOD regardless. I learnt more about JESUS after I graduated High School. I rededicated my life to JESUS CHRIST thro HOLY SPIRIT when I was 21 and 1/2 .when I was 24 I listened to my roommate's Keith Green albums.
Very Chuck Gerard sound to it. This was back in my early college years. I remember this sound was so different from the Quartet Gospel we had grown up with. Then came Andre Crouch and the lid blew off of traditional Christian gospel. Revolutionary for sure but we went with the tide.
One of the best concerts I have ever attended was in 1970 at Southern California College (now Vanguard University) in Costa Mesa, California. It was Love Song opening and then Andre Crouch and the Disciples. What an incredible time. I'll never forget Love Song saying that they were going to introduce 2 new songs they had never played in public before: Let Us Be One, and Little Country Church. Then Andre Crouch blew the roof off the place!

I was 16 when l heard the move of God among the hippies during 1972, and l heard about the seeing of angels by various people to tell that Jesus Christ is coming soon, how true about those seeings l don't know, but truth of the matter is that many were saved....

On 1973 l was always interested by the Jesus movement happening during hippies era, l was 17 that time, l remember those people who are much grown up than me, Amzad, Enid, Margaret, Elizabeth and many others who were very much involved to reach out for young people like me, l got touched by all of it but only to find myself drifting away from God, but thank God, l got radically saved in 1988 by the charismatic movement happening in shillong, now l am 67 and still loving God and serving my Lord and Saviour in my small way, but l treasure the memory of the Jesus movement that happened in USA during those years, God bless chuck Girard and many others who kept holding through and serving the Master...

So, there I was in Jr. High about 8-10 miles from Calvary Chapel, Heard they had a Big circus tent & played Rock N' Roll (more "Hip" Music) & not liking gothic music i'd heard at the Lutheran Church Family went to, till I was 8y I thought to myself "IF I Ever do go to Church, i'm going to check out that Calvary Chapel" I remember "The Way" Paper back bible/books popping up around School & asked about them, still though, never did I hear the Gospel until 20yrs later! I thought "Why would God send me to Hell, i'm a good person" a dozen near death experiences later, finally after several demonic encounters & a secret prayer chain, I happen to get over to Calvary at 31yrs old & by divine providence, i'm sure, a Monday night in "89" where Greg Laurie came in from Riverside to CCCM & I FINALLY Heard the Gospel, OMG I had rolled over in my K5 Blazer 6 or so times, just a month before & woulda gone to Hell had I died that day! TY God for keeping me alive until I FINALLY Heard "no one is good enough to get into heaven"! TY JESUS For YOUR Righteousness accounted to Me, so I can escape the wages of sin in the Lake of Fire, Shivers me timbers how many times I almost ended up there(in Hell). Please Pray & Ask God who you should be sharing w/ or giving a tract to! (or inviting to the next Harvest) or "Bring your unsaved friend" night at your local fellowship Pray for your Friends Salvation! Don't assume, everyone knows you Got to Have Jesus to be forgiven & get into Heaven

Oh man! I might have been there! Was this at Trinity University? I saw them - either in San Antonio, or at Explo '72 in Dallas. Or both? Thought it might have been outside, though, on a hillside. Big impact on me, although I had some "dark" years later in the '70s. But the Lord never let me go, and I turned back more fully to Him in the '80s. So thankful for this video!!

So, there I was in Jr. High about 8-10 miles from Calvary Chapel, Heard they had a Big circus tent & played Rock N' Roll (more "Hip" Music) & not liking gothic music i'd heard at the Lutheran Church Family went to, till I was 8y
I thought to myself "IF I Ever do go to Church, i'm going to check out that Calvary Chapel" I remember "The Way" Paper back bible/books popping up around School & asked about them, still though, never did I hear the Gospel until 20yrs later!
I thought "Why would God send me to Hell, i'm a good person" a dozen near death experiences later, finally after several demonic encounters & a secret prayer chain, I happen to get over to Calvary at 31yrs old & by divine providence, i'm sure, a Monday night in "89" where Greg Laurie came in from Riverside to CCCM & I FINALLY Heard the Gospel, OMG I had rolled over in my K5 Blazer 6 or so times, just a month before & woulda gone to Hell had I died that day!
TY God for keeping me alive until I FINALLY Heard "no one is good enough to get into heaven"!
TY JESUS For YOUR Righteousness accounted to Me, so I can escape the wages of sin in the Lake of Fire, Shivers me timbers how many times I almost ended up there(in Hell).
Please Pray & Ask God who you should be sharing w/ or giving a tract to!
(or inviting to the next Harvest) or "Bring your unsaved friend" night at your local fellowship

Oh man! I might have been there! Was this at Trinity University? I saw them - either in San Antonio, or at Explo '72 in Dallas. Or both? Thought it might have been outside, though, on a hillside. Big impact on me, although I had some "dark" years later in the '70s. But the Lord never let me go, and I turned back more fully to Him in the '80s. So thankful for this video!!
